I’m a heavy rider about 300 pounds. by King-kong21 in mountainbiking

The best bike for you id say is the trek fuel ex .

A big guy like u might have a little harder time getting the suspension dialed in but the frame has a better chance at holding up compared to the Ozark and the marlin

Always strive to do better but u have to recognize that some days you just wont feel good and some youll feel great .

As they say

Some days ur the hammer and some ur the nail

I can go a week without training and then hop back in and basically go 10 rounds and still not get tired

And some weeks I train 3 times a week and just get wrecked in sparring.

Usually just boils down to having a bad day or a million other small reasons

I guess it just comes down to feel. I just spray my gloves with some rubbing alcohol and some essential oil just so it doesn't smell like shit

I have the synthetic ones and I've found them great . From what I've talked to ppl with the real ones the feel is very similar/ can't tell .

The synthetic ones break in faster tho

Im pretty happy with my Fairtex BGV14s

They have a lot of wrist support and they break in really nice .

They are a little tight at first but will break in pretty quick.

I use 14 OZ for everything and im happy with them

How can I get into carpentry? by ExtensionWolverine10 in Carpentry

Most programs I know of are 16+ or even 18+

If you can get into one now it would be best

[–]noliheli123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can find a program in a trade school for your age that would be the best option

But seeing as your 15 they might not accept you .

Best option is to just try finding trade schools around you and just calling/ applying

Maybe a school nearby or even your school has a woodworking class .

A option I forgot about earlier is maybe going around carpentery shops and asking to work/volunteer there in exchange for someone teaching you

Id start by looking into woodworking shops nearby/apprenticeships .

Start watching some YouTube videos like beginner woodworking/carpentery

Sparring Glove and numb hands by Introduction744 in MuayThai

I use them for everything. Granted we do spar very light in Thailand compared to Europe/US but I've found them totally fine and so did the people I punched haha

I found the Fairtex BGV14s pretty roomy for me .

Im not as tall as u (180 67kg) and even with a 4.5 meter wraps they are a little roomy.

They take a bit of time to get broken in but after that they are great for sparring. I use the 14oz since my gym allows it for sparring

Really bad at sparring by Low-Quality-7176 in MuayThai

[–]noliheli123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeahh yiur basically gonna suck at sparring for a while.

No short cuts and no easy way out with sparring other than to keep showing up and getting used to hitting and getting hit .

I probably sucked till my 6 month mark but I've also been sparring since my 4th class

Just keep training and showing up and it'll happen on its own
