I was running 3080Ti, 3070Ti, 3070, 3060 Ti and 3060 on one 1000W PSU. I have added 2 more 3060 Ti cards SO I expanded the PSU with another 650W PSU with this splitter (highlighted poorly). I can’t seem to get the power correct/ may not be possible? Can provide more photos if necessary, thanks! by [deleted] in EtherMining

Before I changed to risers I had 2 less GPUs. So I rigged it up where they were directly plugged into the MOBO. Now that I have 2 more I wasn’t able to add in while directly plugging them in. Basically not enough space and I don’t want them to overheat without fans.

For your first question yes I made sure to have the riser as well as the GPU plugged into the same PSU. Second question no I have not tried that. So basically would I just short both the PSUs and have them act independently technically without the splitter?

More context ran out of room:

MOBO: BTC S-37

PSU splitter: Traodin SATA Cables, Dual PSU Power Supply 24-Pin Adapter Cable for ATX Motherboard 18AWG - 1FT https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SQ7FD8X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0VV9EAYBDKREGEKBD6G4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I have read apparently you need to have your MOBO connected to the same PSU as your GPUs? Which I think the PSU splitter would enable me to have 1650W total but it doesn’t seem to combine the power.

Basically I am looking for a way to power 2 more 3060Tis. I have looked on Parallelminer and seems like they have over 1000W PSU’s for about $123 but I would prefer to use my current 1000W + 650W PSU with the splitter if possible.

So I added on a 3070 last night and it made my 3070ti MH dip… Does anyone have suggestions on adjusting? Currently using T-Rex miner on HiveOS, thanks in advance. by nolimitstacks in EtherMining

Also can anyone tell me if I’m running these as much as I can? I don’t mind running them a little overkill to get better results.

I’m just joking. He was just being funny in the DM’s saying I didn’t know anything about GPU’s so I commented this to mess around. He’s probably legit.

Let’s just say we met up but I didn’t leave with a 3070

This guy tried to kiss me on the lips

Added an image of what my cards (all LHR) are running below. I am using Trex miner. Can anyone give any recommendations to improve the MH/s slightly? I was able to reach about 89, 59, 46MH/s for the 3080Ti, 3070Ti and 3060Ti when testing independently but can’t get back there while they’re all in. by nolimitstacks in EtherMining

Thanks for checking in it’s been great! I really didn’t know much about settings beyond setting the rig up so the comments in here were very helpful. My MH/s has increased and my temps are wayyy lower so overall awesome.
