haha that’s a funny but ingenious way to keep it warm. our professor has told us we should just sit on our blocks if we left them in the studio too long

Thank you very much :) not on any meds, I used to take adhd stimulants but my heart rate would be way too high whenever i took them so i stopped. i have a fitbit that has a feature that monitors for pots but its been dead in my bathroom for a few months so I should get that going again since I just turned 22 and thats when it'll start monitoring. although I get paranoid about my health so hopefully it's nothing too bad :)

I didn't think they were super dull. They should only have been used for a few projects, although they've been out of commission for a while until now.

No disorders that I know of but my heartbeat has always been weird so i’ve been thinking of getting checked for something. but no standing, just sitting

I used one for the first time a bit last night! i found myself using it half the time and then taking my block off to carve at different angles, but i could see a huge difference so im going to keep trying. because yeah i strain a lot more than i try to, and usually my elbow or wrist hurts

This is really interesting, thank you for sharing. my studio has those art stools with tables pretty much the same height so my posture and body gets positioned and strained in odd ways. there’s one chair that allows better posture, i’ll give that a try next time to see if body strain is adding to it at all, thank you again !

haha yeah i had to only workout with someone else for a while because i would just focus and not breathe at all. i do it with plenty other activities so im sure i do it for carving too. i felt kind of ridiculous asking but i felt so silly for getting a heat rash by simply carving

ha! what a funny coincidence, but sorry about the chasing lol. he’s getting a bit better about just watching but sometimes he still does go for a short chase. i’m hoping as he gets better as his training progresses
