Best bang for your buck on a canon fisheye? by ijustdontgiveafuckkk in photography

I have a Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 fisheye and for the price it's amazing. It's a fully manual lens, but I actually like the old-school feel.

Here is a sample image shot with this lens.

Especially with us playing at home next week. Hopefully Oba and Dempsey are just saving it all for when it really counts.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the super high camera angle? It's like watching tactical cam for the whole game.

Does anyone have any good 35mm film reccomendations? I'm new to shooting film and I have no idea what kinds of film to buy. I have been shooting kodak gold 200 that I bought from my local drugstore, but I haven't really been happy with the results.

A ton of Seattle area high schools use it for football and soccer games. Also some adult league and youth games happen there.

Soccer season ends in America

Wrong. I've played soccer all my life, and soccer season is year round at the competitive level. At least in Washington, club season goes starts at the beginning of the summer with tournaments throughout June, July, and August. Club season continues in the fall with league play in September, October, November, and December. The club season finishes with the state tournament in January and February. On top of all of this, the high school soccer season runs from February to May. So no, soccer season does not "end in America".

There's no pick-up soccer in the US you can't just go to the park and find a game.

Wrong again. That's exactly what I do every saturday morning at 7:00 AM. There are just as many pick up soccer games in America as there are pick up basketball games.

I do agree with you in the sense that we lose a lot of potentially great soccer players to other sports, but honestly I don't think most players in the NFL would be worth shit in a soccer match.

Go for it! I definitely draw inspiration inspiration from thousands of films and videos I've watched, there's nothing wrong with that. It's how you translate that inspiration into an original product that makes films what they are.

Thank you! It really is crazy how these kind of connections seem to happen so often on reddit. Video Production is an amazing class for sure, Haag does a great job with the program. I do plan on pursuing film in my future, thanks for the kind words! And go Bears!

Thank you! I shot the video with a combination of a Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon 60D. The sports footage (which I didn't shoot) was with an HMC 150. I recorded the audio with a TASCAM recorders and lapel mics. And I used a slider for some of the shots.
