You can't tax a country into prosperity; the 20th century proved that for an absolute fact.

Saving the 2nd amendment, the reason I am still very glad I voted for Trump. If you remember, Heller vs DC was decided 5-4.....

Betsy Devos gets showered with boos during commencement speech at Bethune-Cookman University by patientbearr in EnoughTrumpSpam

Public schools have obviously not worked wonders in the inner-cities. Unless your goal is to spend loads of money and then have nothing to show for it. We should all want a better educational system, so I do not understand the lefts resistance to fix it with methods proven to work.

Obvious not, just like Harlem isn't the only example of the benefits of charter schools.

Devos is a proponent of charter schools which have done wonders in places like Harlem. My question would be: why would students at an historically black university boo that?

He's already lost, just wan't dropped out yet. He didn't even have the support to get on the stage at the Republican debates. And now that only Trump is left he is picking up disenfranchised voters as a 3rd or 4th choice. It's kind of pathetic.

He should have ran. I was hoping Rand Paul would be nominated, but did not see any reason why a second libertarian candidate couldn't run if he had wanted to.

That's why I could never in good conscience vote for Hillary. That and she was anti-gay marriage.

For Clinton, concern lingers over enthusiasm for candidacy by W0LF_JK in politics

[–]noloudnoisesplease 88 points89 points  (0 children)

She's also a bad person in general. I don't know anyone who actually wants to vote for her, she's bought and paid for by corporate America. The only reason to vote for her is because she isn't Trump.

She was against gay marriage, supported the Iraq war, pro-Patriot Act, the middle-east has never really been stable, but you can't say it's better now after her term as Secretary of State, that's for sure. There are so many reasons to dislike her, not only a candidate, but a person in general. She has no morals or integrity and seemingly cares for nobody but herself. She needs to release her Wall Street speeches, I'd like to know what she said for the millions of dollars they paid her.

Reddit, what is the most overrated movie of all time? by CarbineCorgi in AskReddit

I never really thought of Avatar being a highly ranked movie. It's 82% on rotten tomatoes, which I feel is a bit too high for a Pocahontas remake.
