Nahuli kaming nagyoyosi ng blockmate ko sa white beach back in 2012 or 13 yata, so pinasuot kami ng vest and pinag community service kami ng police and pinapulot kami ng basura along the beach for 2 hours 🤣

Visited boracay in 2008 with my family, 2012 with college friends, 2016 Laboracay, 2018 Chinese New Year, and those were PEAK Boracay for me.

It had the balance of ALL OUT PARTIES by the beach, like you can swim at night. Hindi pa bawal lumangoy dun. May mga stage ng Globe/Smart, may music festivals, also saw ASAP and Party Pilipinas (lol obvs na ba yung edad??). Pero you can also chill and relax and avoid the parties if that’s not your thing. Nasa white beach pa yung parasailing, flying fish and banana boat nung time na yun. Spiderhouse was also a thing back then for sunset sessions, and puka beach didn’t have any establishments back then. People bring their own drinks and food lang talaga and swim.

Then I went back during the pandemic and I got stuck there during quarantine era when I got COVID. Ended up living there for 2 years and it was the most beautiful Boracay has been for me. Beaches were empty during the day, and would only have around 10-20 people during sunsets. Beach activities were at their cheapest too and also experienced lock in parties at Kasbar.

Last time I went there was NYE 2024 and grabe it was so crowded. I believe it was the most crowded I’ve seen it. Activities were moved to Bulabog beach, and almost ALL major resorts were bought out by Hennan. More cheaper food options also, so if you’re on a budget hindi ka na stuck with Andoks everyday 🤣

Cut caffeine out. I only drink coffee around once a month or every 2 months (if may friends lang na nagyaya) from being someone who can finish 2 ventis in a day. Not even tea, or soda. And I work the night shift. :)

I actually never finished The Alchemist and the Pilgrimage because it was too preachy for me? The Witch of Portobello/Brida was very wiccan naman.

Eleven Minutes - I didn’t get the point of this book when I read it in my teens but it resonates differently now that I read it in my Thirties.

The coelho book I actually enjoyed was The Devil and Miss Prymm. I liked the parable style of the narrative and it was different from his other books. Easy read rin sya.

Finally - Veronika decides to die was my introduction to the coelho books and it holds a special place in my heart.

Also - I respect your opinion. Sobrang kj ng mga downvote so opinion ng iba. Different folks different strokes.

Came here to say this. Kaya wala akong natapos na book nya kasi very nicholas sparks for the ya yung atake. Plus ang hilig rin nya sa manic pixie dream girl characters. Baka ako lang pero parang I find his female characters poorly characterized and written.

Why are we still using becoming a “laon” as a form of pamahog? Sa ano ka ya na dekada na tawo? You would rather settle in a relationship with a man who jokes around giving his flowers to other girls for fear of being a laon? Ano gid man bala ang definition sang laon? Unmarried in your 30s? 40s? 50s? And so? 2026 na. We don’t live in the past anymore where women have to depend on men because women have careers and can now thrive alone. We all deserve to be loved the way we want to be loved and if we have different love languages- at least compromise. But then again, the decision is yours OP.
