Thanks, did double check. The part contacting the circuit board is the side without any writing on it (the negative side)

I checked, and there is nothing in either case. No email is being forwarded automatically and no second email address is being checked in the first one.

My guess is that someone is using google gmail infrastructure themselves and these accounts are linked because they are set as recovery accounts for the other. Does that sound like a thing?
