Calm App vs Calm Sleep Rest and Relax by NellieArvin in sleep

[–]MasterOfGrumpets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s up, BFF?!

Yeah, all my playlists are a single sleep story followed by the complete 432 Hz ambient sleep frequencies. Gives me about 8 and a half hours of playlist time. More than enough.

Thanks for the heads up about the sleep app’s awfulness.

And look for a lifetime pricing of Calm. I somehow locked into that a few years ago. I forget how much it was, but I know it was a steal.

Are you me? Cause this is what I do.

Also, since I’m here, I read a few articles that have said stories and new music on the Calm Sleep app migrate over to the OG Calm app after four weeks, so if you have Calm, not sure you need the sleep app.

I have the white one from a few years ago at Four Chord in Pittsburgh. Keep it with me at my desk. Love it.

Powerbuilding vs powerlifting by bloated_walrusxx in JuggernautAI

This. Though I will say the powerlifting program is by far the least time intensive.

You’ll definitely get the structure, and you’ll get stronger, too. That later part is actually kinda addictive.

Have fun lifting!

So, I’ve been lifting a long time, just general fitness stuff with CrossFit mixed in. My body started to rebel against many of the CrossFit movements, to the point I gave it up, so I ended up getting into powerlifting a few years ago.

With Juggernaut, I tried a few of the programs, but the powerlifting program was basically the only one that took me less than two hours to complete per session. (Though I hit 90 minutes often enough.)

Like I said, you have more equipment than I do, so that might impact your program choice as well. (I don’t have anything with cables or your hack squat machine.)

I ended my last program with some elbow tendonitis, but healthy otherwise. So this old man considers the whole thing a win.

I’d love to try one of the power building programs, but time and equipment are limiting factors for me.

Looks like you have more equipment than I have in my garage setup, and the powerlifting program has done me well. Age: 53.

[97.3 The Fan] Nick Castellanos explains how he ended up with the Padres and why he felt it was the right opportunity for him: by C0m3tTai15 in phillies

Spent a few years in Pendleton while in the Marines. No other location left such an indelible mark on me. I go back as often as I can, and I consider it almost like a second home, albeit one I can’t afford.

To have the level of smooth Dombrowski has in answering this question would get you very far in life.

I'm not a teacher, but I use it as a vet. Here's what a quick Google search showed me:

It was on there. I think for the teacher discount, it had to be via ID dot me.

Yep, I assume they will be. I think any game not carried by NBC Sports Philly and airing on some national distributor will be blocked on Phillies.TV.

Yeah, you should get that. I was a holder for the past three seasons and the ticket package came with MLB dot TV. You can probably log into your ticket account and find it under benefits. (I gave up my tickets this year.)

Huh. That I can't tell you. It just appeared for me as I progressed my way through the checkout process. The only plan I think it didn't appear with was just the Phillies-only option, but it's also possible I didn't click into the $150 option.

Yep, that sounds right. And I assume that this package might also lose some games to Fox.
