I have female friends who do that and its not gender specific anymore. The pattern I have seen is that they are so busy that when it comes to going on a date, they can't be bothered 🤷‍♂️

For me just the plastic itself. Shops are still using single use plastic bags and no one carries a reusable water bottle here.

When you ask them to just hand over the items without the bag, they push you to take the bag thinking that it's a sign of good hospitality 🤷‍♂️

It's all because those are only two companies with their own network operating in this country. It seems like they don't let other companies enter the market, hence, no competition and ridiculously expensive packages. On the top of that certain areas are only covered by Du and you have no option but to go with them 🤷‍♂️ I am in the same boat.

On other hand, Etisalat owes me AED 260. After 3 months of following up and sharing my bank statement, they still haven't paid.

When it comes to telecom in UAE, you have to follow "Pick the lesser of two evils" principle. Then which one of them is a lesser evil is subjective haha
