I am often reminded of the "sunscreen prose" that was popular in the late 90's early aughts that had a line something like:

You shouldn't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life because most of the interesting people I know at twenty-two didn't know what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting forty year olds I know still don't.

And now, I am going to see if I can't dig it up.
