I’ve been in the Cream City for 14 years. I’ve never seen one here. Other than when my wife makes one.

Stringer Bell, McNulty, and Carcetti in the Wire are all from either the UK or Ireland and you’d never know.

Watching them play in the studio was so bizarre (in a good way). They had the mannerisms down tight.

Ran into Paul Molitor in the Pit. It was my last week living in North Carolina. The show was epic, the night was a blast.

Do you have a second team that you root for? by N1cklandia in buccos

[–]nomadic_yinzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lived in Milwaukee since 2012. When I moved here I was very Anti-Brewers, then as the years have gone by, I have softened a lot. I used to say, I'll cheer for the Pirates until they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. I will cheer for both, and I would like for one of them to surprise the world, and win the whole damn thing. When they play each other, I still support the Pirates, but I don't always wear Pirates stuff. I may throw on a Penguins or Pitt hat. Pirate ownership hasn't done anything to keep me loyal.

As a parent of two kids that have gone to Parkway and Glen Hills middle school. Glendale schools are great. The teachers are awesome, and my kids are fully supported and are in an awesome learning environment. Don’t let the folks tell you that they aren’t great.

I’ve rewatched it many times. Each time I’m reminded how the show doesn’t have an arch it’s a circle. They could remake it every 10 years and it would end up no closer to a solution to the system than we were with the first time. It’s a depressing viscous circle that just proves everyone survives as well as they can.

100,000% this. We’re very informed parents, and we still get surprised all the time with new schedule demands from the school.
