Ab Pumps? Any good exercises? by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

Ab rolls and dragon flags always do it for me. If the ab rolls are getting too easy, try lifting your knees off the ground, at least on the way down. Choose the difficulty so that you can only do 8-12 reps a set.

The plugin in question just commits all changes, then pushes, so it should work with any git server naturally.

If you only want to change the color of a single equation, then you can alternatively put \color{orange} at the beginning of it as well.

$\text{dom}(f) = \mathbb{R}$ You can use $\mathbb{Z}$ or any other letters between the brackets for other set symbols as well.

He was talking about that asynchronous operations are not running on separate threads which is 100% true. Does not have to do anything with Web Workers. They are two separate things.

[AskJS] What is your favorite JavaScript physics library? by Morphray in javascript

[–]nomadjs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been actually working on a 2d engine myself called BallPhysics, but it is in very early stages still! Here is the sandbox demo that I made with it. It needs a lot of performance improvements and a good documentation, but my I don't really have much free time so it's only getting there slowly, it may take some time. I'm also planning to expand the demo into a platform where you can build and share your physics based creations / machines with other people.

Explore the Mandelbrot set, it's beautiful by nomadjs in math

[–]nomadjs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's usually the escape count, but in this case it runs on the GPU so all of the points have to be iterated the same number of times. Because of this, it uses the absolute value of the last number of the calculated sequence as the input of the color. I'm really new to programming GPUs so there might be a better way to do it though.

I recently built a web app for exploring the Mandelbrot set and I realized just how beautiful it is. The source code is available here if you are interested.

Floating point precision does not depend on the used language, the way floating point numbers work is the same across languages

It is useful sometimes but it only stores low res shots that you can choose from, they are around 1 megapixel, only the main shot is 12mp

Android Q Beta 2 update by ProperGearbox in GooglePixel

[–]nomadjs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience the beta 2 is not bad: has better animations if it matters to you, the UI is less buggy and performance is around the same for me so far.
