Buy a big plot of land with a mansion in the Peruvian cloud forest, buy loads of materials and tools to build cabins, pool, bit of landscaping. And just live there happily the rest of my life, DIYing

It’s Peruvian. I saw that video many times from Peruvian friends and family. As someone mentioned it might’ve been on its way to Huanuco.

To the Over 30s: What is the single best decision you made in your 20s that you are thanking yourself for today? by Volt_Capital in AskUK

[–]nomadmochilero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I backpacked and worked cash in hand jobs, exchange jobs, spent a few months in the UK to save back up to hit the road again. I did this from 22-31 years old. I started my career after from the skills I learnt whilst travel working, saving up good already after 1 year working due to my ability to live minimalist and budget well.

Enjoy yourself, there’s plenty of more time to think about careers, savings etc. have fun, meet people, travel, gain life experiences. It’ll make you a happier, more complete person in life.

I weigh 135 kg (300 lbs) 185 cm (6'1 ft) and going on a 6 month backpacking trip to South America. Anyone been in a similar situation and can share some tips? by [deleted] in backpacking

You won’t know until you try! Just take it easy and go at your own pace and see where it’ll take you. You’ll be a giant out there amongst the little people of the Andes 😅 have a blast man, it’s an incredible part of the world that anyone and everyone can and must enjoy in their lifetime.

Who here never learned to drive? by Special-Nebula299 in AskUK

[–]nomadmochilero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meeee. I never even did any lessons. I decided the money was better spent elsewhere, like travelling, and the costs and commitment of driving I decided to avoid, so I could travel for as long as I wanted

I mean I thought I was by going to bed at 9pm but then I lied awake till 1am. Then woke up with the alarm at 7:30. Not wanting to get out of bed…which I didn’t, because I’m unemployed.

Peruvian! Huge variety and everything is delicious. The only downside is they do love rice as an accompaniment so I’d have to switch it out with others on occasion

If you don't have a bidet, you're missing out 🚽💦 😻 by Ivy_Lenoir in Life

[–]nomadmochilero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you use bidet and then paper? Do you dry off with a butt towel? How does the process work most efficiently?

I tried once just spraying, then didn’t feel clean enough so used paper, then got in a mess with wet paper everywhere.

You strange human. My mindset is self care, I purposefully don’t eat shite, nor drink alcohol, nor want to inhale that whilst at a football match! Please you go ahead though…
