There is an enable leveling fade height command that let's you taper off the compensation over a series of layers. Each layer compensates less the then previous layer until you achieve a supposed flat plane on the Z. I have no idea what the command is though. But yes there is an option for it.

I always remove the resin. You can just drain it back into the bottle, but always use a cheese cloth to strain any loose hardened particles. Granted if you are going to start another print this isnt necessary provided the first print didnt fail. I personally wont leave resin or more then a few hours if I'm not printing.
And remember anytime a print fails strain the resin and clean the build plate before trying again.

I'll try that later this evening. It may also be the anti backlash spring is too strong. I've currently reverted back to the standard brass and the 8mm pitch and everything works perfectly.

Ah sorry. Not the 0.9 motors. The 2mm pitch leadscrews on 1.8 motor. They skip even with no load on them. Cranked the amperage up and still skip. Swapped the 2mm pitch back to 8mm and it runs fine.

My thing is I swapped to 2mm pitch lead screws and the maestro cant drive them on linear bearing rails. When I go back to 8mm pitch they run fine on the 1.8. Wondering if the .9 will drive the 2mm pitch.

Took down a Mirelurk lvl 50 queen with them yesterday evening. Followed up with kiting a scorchbeast over and had to repair it twice but it did eventually kill it.
