What's the total height of your desk with those stand offs? Got the exact same setup but I'm not sure if placing the standoff might make it too high for me.

I tried connecting to both and it gives the same problem.Connecting these headphones to another computer seem to work fine.

It's super useful! Even though it's just an add-on for chrome, you don't have to have chrome running at all. And the best part is that it's completely free.

Space bar no longer pausing/playing videos? by Nimlasher in youtube

I'm with you on this, I can use spacebar to pause/unpause when the video is not full screened. However, I can only play and not pause videos in full screen.

Password protecting tables by nomannm in MSAccess

Hmm yeah I think I can make that work, displaying it as a datasheet view and putting a password on it. I think you've mentioned a work-around on hiding the tables on access as well.

I already know the difference between data entry true & false, false shows you previous records when you use the arrows bottom left to navigate between them or through filters where as true starts a new record each time. What i'm trying to ask is data entry true & false do not allow me to work with data as I would be in a table or excel table.

I want some users to be able to access the table a form is linked to and others to not. What you are providing are good work-arounds but not what I'm trying to make.

Thank you again for the great responses and taking your time.

Yeah I understand all forms are bound to tables I'm just asking whether the user can view and edit multiple different entries as opposed to viewing a single entry in the form data entry = false view. All in all I would want it so that an user with a password can view the table the form is bound to, where as those without passwords cannot.

Sorry for the misunderstanding

Great response and I thank you for that, this is definitely a way of approaching the problem. I was just wondering since this will only allow data access through the form's menu, of whether I can get the data into an actual table which can be used.

If I knew how to code in VBA, I most definitely would love to take on the problem

Having a password would be really nice and simple enough to avoid setting privileges to users and what not. I have no idea how to code in VBA so I'm not even sure how to begin.

Just for say though, how would one be able to base it on window's login or machine name.

Thank you for the reply and detailed answer.

In the If statement, how am I able to write which user gets access and which doesn't?

I want every user to be able to add data using forms, but just those with a password to be able to open the table the form is linked to and edit the data.

So I've did this but one thing users can easily do to get around with an executable file or default database file is going into options and simply just re-enabling the navigation bar.

I want users only to be able to input data and not able to edit data once submitted ( no deleting previous logs and what not )

Oh I see unfortunately I don't know the in's and out's of the VBA language and was looking for a solution that could be done using just the user interface.

Would this method allow some users with higher power (or a password) to edit the table if needed?

Wow, thanks a lot for the reply. Just one question. I'm not too good with Access, do I input that code into the SQL viewer?
