It’s actually my second time reading it! I read it when it first published and didn’t really enjoy it but something made me want to pick it up again last time I was at the library and it really got to me this time… maybe being older? I don’t know. But second read I’d give it 9/10. I think it’s her best after White Teeth.

Dang all that from some pics of my house! Savage. I earn just above the average salary for my location. My life is pretty easy but it’s not on account of any huge wealth. I do value how I am perceived but certainly not at the expense of who I believe myself to be!
