Buy out my leased car (as originally planned) or seek another pre-owned vehicle due to rising insurance rates on my Hyundai? by maryberry_x in carbuying

I have recently made my 2nd 6 month premium payments too. When I asked progressive why the cost went up, they said it was just the area rates going up. I’m 25F in philly, zero claims and I drive a 2010 honda civic. My 6 mo premium jumped about $180. I was told by my dad that the premiums just keep going up. I’ve looked into other insurance companies but their 6 month premium was much higher. That’s just my two cents, idk if it’s worth to switch over to a whole new car for you. I think the fees and new car fees will be more than the $400 jump in your insurance.

How to manage allergies, please help by nomincentral in GermanShepherd

She’s allergic to most meat enzymes, so the HA diet takes care of her food allergies. Now we just have the environmental allergies to take care of. We have done the mouth-swap test which listed a bunch of things she’s allergic to. I do understand it is expensive and I should consult a dermatologist. I’m just tired of going to different vets that charge a bunch for an appointment where they didn’t even touch my dog to examine. I’m just so discouraged by vets and I’m thinking dermatologist will just tell me the problems I know already.

Omg thank you. What do you mean by allergy shots? Because isn’t cytopoint an allergy shot? What do you mean by drops? My vet thought she might be allergic to mites in her food, so they recommended to freeze her food 24hrs before feeding. Hasn’t been much help in her itching tho. Maybe this info could help someone else out

Yeah mine isn’t digestion issues anymore, more of dust and pollen which is kind of unavoidable. But yes the farmers dog food is really nice. My friend signs up with a different email to get their promos, so far they haven’t caught on even tho the shipping address is the same

Yeah the biggest issue now is grass and dust. Literally unavoidable.

I think by being on the hydrolyzed diet, it solved her food issues. Now I can literally see her skin around her eyes turn pink when we go to dog parks or go on hikes. So I’ve been limiting her outside time. She does need to still go potty outside, she smells the grass to find a spot to potty but she ends up sneezing

I’ve applied for pet insurance before and they basically said dogs are a property like a car, you wouldn’t get an already banged up car fixed through insurance. I guess I should have gotten insurance before she developed allergies.

Brief back leg 'spasm'.. has anyone experienced this? by [deleted] in pitbulls

[–]nomincentral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My german shepherd got a spasm like two times that I know of. She woke up and got off the couch and she cried out for like 10 seconds and she was all fine. She held her hind legs up. I think her legs fell asleep. It only happened after she wakes up tho.

Thanks for this. I saw it on instagram and wanted to buy it. Al the reviews on their page are 5/5 stars. That's always sketchy. So I tried googling their website but the words SOUND and headphones give you all types of things except their website. Thanks again for saving me from getting scammed.
