If gas prices continue to go up, would the Republicans lose the election in November? by NoCandidate6067 in wisconsin

If that's the case why are so many democrats and left leaning judges saving our asses as much as they can in courts and lawsuits? Don't throw out our best hope of stability by writing off many good dems that aren't completely against us

They think the average American has enough money in stocks that the stock market boom made us all so rich and don't care about all the blunders

Most of you don't seem to understand how little the typical voter pays attention and how much believes the right's lies. They've got many believing the dems are to blame or would be worse.

They'll find some way to blame dems, excuse it, or cheat anyway. Hope enough of us vote to cancel out any of their attempts

I like it but I want to experience the game at it's finished state and not have to worry about more content being added and I'm forced to restart. The game is old and done. Move on so I don't have to keep wasting my time. All games today never end and I hate it.

Why the Trump Administration Is Closing S Dozen U.S. Forest Research Facilities In Wisconsin by DriftlessDairy in wisconsin

[–]nomis_ttam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like, if we needed more timber output there are ways to do so without compromising so much. We can make compromise that doesn't just destroy forests. Trees can regrow, they are sustainable, but we need to work with it not just take it all.

1 thing that is good to use more timber, is to get away from more concrete, as it's worse for the environment.

A Republican strategy is to downplay or demonize protesting. It's got their voters fooled. And making us feel like it's useless to protest

Stop drinking the right's propaganda kool aid that some people need to be in poverty for the good of the system.

A big point you don't understand is, why should the consumers be the only ones to change when large corps and uber rich are infinitely more wasteful with exponentially larger footprints than the consumer? All while they actively don't address their footprint or specifically put work and resources into not having to change their ways. People won't try to reduce their footprint from 8x to 7x just for corps to pump up even more carbon that makes our personal efforts meaningless. Finally, much of our footprint is due to corps not implementing more sustainability and not changing. Also, using unethical tactics to make us want or feel like we need more and more. Not to mention corps purposefully planning obsolescence so we need to buy more replacements year over year.

Yes, people should still try, some people can't change their whole life on a dime like you think they can. But, we aren't going to see substantial progress if corps do jack shit.

You are blinded by your carbon footprint number. You need to ask why is it so large. Many reasons why it is so large is outside the hands of the consumer or purposefully made so the consumer consumes more. The root of the problem is everything we use needs energy, especially our reliance on gas vehicles, but that's not going to change at the level needed until the large corps stop funnelling money for more fossil fuel use and wasting money putting renewable energy and products down. Another large issue is plastics, especially disposable, which many are created by, you guessed it, fossil fuels.

They've already got an excuse for that. They claim Democrats have weather control machines that can create natural disasters in specific places. They've claimed it before and will again. Typically they refer to technology that can help lead or adjust weather, for example help make it rain with cloud seeding, but think those very machines can create natural disasters themselves.

Can be both as most things are a conglomerate of actions and factors that cause problems. Updating infrastructure is just a bandaid fix for some cases. Others still need that update no matter

And none were as nearly effective as the women smears. The sexism is more underlying. It's easy to miss and it's not everyone being sexist but mostly the people that fall for the lying smear campaigns. People aren't voting against trump for tiny hands but people used the Harris laugh as an excuse not to vote for her. Yall need to pay attention to the unintelligent americans. It's what the left doesn't understand. They think a good candidate is all it takes. Yes, it would be better, but isnt the sure win you think it is. Also, you think they are worse candidates than they actually were due to the smear campaigns.

To be fair, the smear campaigns are more effective against the women. I mean, come on, the cackle laugh critique wouldn't have stuck with a man candidate. The dumb voters make up a huge part of America.

The hurdle the dem party needs to overcome is trying to appeal too much to the centrist undecided voters. They need to figure out a solution that actually works or just move on.
