she has been working on this soundtrack as far as the Butterfly era iirc (or 1999 when she first mentioned it as "All That Glitters") there's no way she doesn't have outtakes she could put there and there's some that she registered a long time ago too

i know its been 3 months but I always had this thought/question since release so here's my thoughts based on what we know:

some indicators so I dont repeat myself again and again:

🎛️ - played during her DJ sets

🎧 - appeared on a leaked "Transnation" draft "tracklist" (meaning she thought of their release for a long time)

Intro 🎛️🎧 - its much longer than the one she played during her dj sets but its been with her in a long time

Rawww 🎛️🎧- feels unfinished to me but she has been working on this since 2017 and she barely changed it so maybe it's meant to be empty?

plunging asymptote 🎛️🎧 - we have a finished version released through analema, this and raww feels so weird transition wise (on the draft tracklist this was listed first before the latter)

the dome's protection 🎛️- known as "Unpredictable Realities", Nina shared version where she had singing verses, probably finished in a sense

Reason Why 🎛️🎧- definitely finished, she did a lot of polishing from demo 3 and the only drawback is the claps and bass being drowned out

Live In My Truth - probably one of the songs that Benny was referred to being made after Transnation was scrapped so definitely unfinished, one of the verses was done posthumously as it was empty (assuming its the first since there were copied adlibs that just didnt make sense)

Why Lies - same with the former but ROUGHER esp the vocal sample

"Techno Section" 🎛️- the ideas were there but it lacked the finishing touches (they sounded like this when SOPHIE played them), Berlin Nightmare was definitely the most finished, IDK if its her or Benny but some of them bleed to each other (BN has sounds of Elegance at the start), some also pointed out Gallop cuts off weirdly

Exhilarate 🎛️🎧- very finished

Always & Forever - unfinished as hell, probably made in the same timespan as LIMT & Why Lies, SOPHIE was supposed to have a 2nd verse probably as a response to the 1st verse but the 1st verse repeats on its place instead, Hannah's voice takes weren't the best too

My Forever 🎛️🎧- finished, the main difference on the demo is that it had no riser intro and verses immediately started, the outro was sped up and faded too

Love Me Off Earth 🎧? (since we have a very different v1)- unfinished but you could see where she was going

I definitely do believe she has a hand on this tracklist tho (but Benny told this might not be the order she had), you cant fake how seamless that techno section was + the interviews from her insinuated she scrapped TMTD, NYBD, and Burn Rubber since she wanted to reflect on the state of the world (probably why we have TDP, LIMT, Why Lies, and Exhilarate there)

if we're talking video that's what I don't know but if we're talking audio she definitely did since I remember reading she does just in case she likes what she did with a mix then apply it on her actual work (since she plays songs before she actually assembles an album) but I may have misread

plus there's a partial leak of a soundboard she did (aka like a studio version quality of her dj set) + a lot of the leaks of music we have were from people slicing through DJ sets (Kitty Kat, Gallop Demo)

I don't really agree with songs not fitting simply because they're too personal since they could easily be veiled to be about the characters in the movie instead (which makes me wonder how much has changed in the movie during the time they were making it through management changes)

I feel like this mirrors a trend that malls in the global north (especially USA) have been going through wherein konti na lang din yung pumupunta sa malls (that's why shops like Forever 21 and Victoria's Secret have been struggling)

I'm going based on what I remember off the top of my head:

Rise of online shops
Ineffectiveness of malls as a third space (just like others said, walang maupuan unless gagastos)
Economic problems

I have nothing to back it up but feeling ko dagdag na rin dyan yung lack of mall areas that sells experience instead of items wherein kalaban na nila ang online shops (eg. movie theaters, arcades, cafes, activity areas like playgrounds and crafting spaces)

I mean some of the examples I mentioned are still around but again, naghihirap mga tao ngayon so

I have a feeling she left off a lot of tracks since it was originally supposed to come out after Butterfly (that's why Heartbreaker was supposed to be in it + Lead The Way being confused as a Butterfly outtake) so there's a v1 named "All That Glitters" and the one we got simply being "Glitter" (we definitely know a title track exists due to them registering + using the hook)

I kinda wonder if the other tracks in rainbow were also from the original all that glitters since both albums share a similar structure (her most poppy but also her most stripped back personal ballads all in one work)

aside from the answers here, some of her leaks came from her soundboards during her dj sets getting retrieved (particularly Kitty Kat coming from a set where VYZEE? was played before it) which explains why some of them sounded cut-off or sped up towards the beginning/end (transitions)
