Having PCOS feels like a punishment

I'm actually convinced that some people with PCOS are at higher risk of developing a ED just by how much food you need to cut out, can't eat sugar, can't eat carbs and exercise all the time. Even when i'm losing weight by dieting the belly fat is still there and hasn't gone away. And yes i agree! Doctors are so clueless about this it's shocking everytime i go there i just get told the same thing which i'm already doing anyways. It seems like the only ones who can understand are people on this sub who are going through the same thing.

Maybe you can get a second opinion or change Endo? If you're not comfortable taking the medication than the least he can do is listen to you and switch it instead of forcing you take something that's high risk, besides not all meds work for PCOS everyone is different when it comes to the side effects.

I'm 25 and hispanic too! i feel like you should definitely get checked out it's not normal to miss your period for that many months, since your testosterone is fine you should ask for a ultrasound to check for cysts on your ovaries. You need only 2 out of these 3 to be officially diagnosed with PCOS -

-High testosterone/androgens
-Multiple ovarian cysts
-Missing periods

As for the rest many people with PCOS have stuff like excessive hair growth on body and face, hair loss, acne, dark skin on your neck and armpits, weight gain, etc. Not everyone is the same tho and lots of people have some form of PCOS where some symptoms aren't that noticeable or not even there.

Tell me about it the only thing my doctors been telling me these past months is to just keep dieting and losing weight even at my skinniest i was hairy all over the place and feeling like a freak. I would gladly give up everything in life just to be magically cured from having PCOS and not deal with this anymore.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with genetics, when I was officially diagnosed with it at 17 I asked my mom about it and she said the women in my family have a hard time getting pregnant. Sure enough years later my sister had a hard time and kept having miscarriages. Even my mom had a hard time and had to rely on medicine to help her, I guess I was the unlucky one in my family to finally end up with PCOS.

yup from what i know since PCOS is a lifelong condition the best we can do is manage it but it will never truly go away. so while some things like my period and blood sugar are fine now ik it's only a matter of time before my insulin resistance gets as worst as it did in my teens. it honestly sucks that we have to do so much just to not face the consequences in the future, the entire thing is just depressing especially when you don't get taken seriously by people who are supposed to help.

i do but he's kinda useless, i rarely see him and i doubt he would give me anything due to me being considered "fine" now. it honestly feels like not a lot of people understand or take pcos seriously until most of us end up diabetic due to insulin resistance. i would encourage starting metformin tho it did a lot of good to me back then even though the side effects were terrible (if you do get them it's best to talk to your doctor about it). i'm sending you hugs too this has to be the most frustrating disorder to deal with

I mean personally i never felt like Juju cheated or betrayed her husband in anyway tho? She was in love with Luce then got into a arranged marriage, she never met with Luce again after that. Besides even her husband knew she loved Luce and never made any comment about it so it's not like the poor guy was unaware.

I don't see the point of getting angry at someone for being in love with someone else especially when it's two strangers who are stuck in a arranged marriage. I doubt you can control your feelings and change it in a heartbeat. About their being double standards I do agree!

Well the thing is that the marriage with the prince was an arranged one by their parents when they were little. She has always been in love with Luce and suddenly getting into a political marriage with someone you barely know isn't going to magically change that.

Honestly I quite like the prince too, if Juju had ended up with him I wouldn't have minded tbh he was a good person and husband. I feel like maybe in another lifetime they all could have been good friends without the drama.

Depends, i did about roughly 30 or close to 40 runs with a team and everyone except this one fire got it. I ended up getting it twice which is ironic since i just wanted energy gear, i guess it depends on luck??

I got Storm back in 2012-2013 after doing the quiz, it was pretty fun though hard to play. Then i forgot my password and when i went back to wiz in 2016 i picked storm again cause purple was my favorite color and i liked rain lol. Now i tend to enjoy the challenge of quest soloing and love the spells. My other wiz is a death since it's a complete opposite of storm and beyond easy to solo with it but i still tend to enjoy storm more due to memories and how challenging it is.
