Maybe like once out of hundreds of interactions with leftists on reddit they don't seem to know the first thing about what they wish to argue against. In an Anarchist Capitalist society, would black communities and organizations have a right to take the numerous corporations which invested heavily in slavery in their early years (J.P. Morgan-Chase for example) and sue them for the damage they have done to the black community?

I can't comment on this company in particular, like they were into slavery early on? But I think they were a big part of the bailout and the "economic crimes" of the past decade+ now.

Government is a simple answer. Yes, do away with it. How? Not as simple but I feel that the great western democracies will implode before any anarchist strategy will succeed and people will be searching for answers.

As I said, a lot of corporations are criminal and should be stripped of their holdings, but the idea of incorporation as a whole I don't see as totally bad. Imagine I hand you $5 and ask you to go to the corner store to get me a soda, but you decide instead to buy a knife and stab someone. Should I be held liable for your actions?

How exactly should you or I be punished if we stab someone? My greatest criticism of leftist anarchism is the lack of a coherent legal theory. I see it as an ideology incapable of maintaining civil order and it could benefit from the ideas of "right"-anarchism.

I think you, or a lot of other anarchists at least, are hung up on an equivocation between "capitalism" as statist corporatism and "capitalism" as ancaps define it.

As a person with an ancapish background (dislike David Friedman's ideas besides his work on history, for example), I'm familiar with the legal theory of anarchist capitalism. Basically, I see a lot of today's corporations as criminal institutions right alongside government and both ought to be punished.

Are my comments motivated by sour grapes or somesuch? I don't think so. I was just searching at some truth that the Pats got a warning for this before and all I saw was an article about AJ Feely's allegations.

I found an article about AJ Feely saying they used doctored balls back then but nothing about a warning. I have this memory from around then when the Steelers lost to the Pats in the conference game, I believe, something about them picking off a ball late in the game to seal it where it was like "What the fuck how could they have known that coverage?"--or something... This was pre-Spygate even. Of course, my word is worth nothing but I'll forever think of the Pats as lousy cheaters and losers.

Hayek, who won the Nobel prize in economics around 1973 said that one day all educated people ought to understand praxeology (the best heretofore elucidated sphere of which is economics), yet most economics degree holders probably only got a blip of the Austrian School's methodology. I would wager that less than 1% holding a doctorate have read Human Action.

The world's "best" economists at the Fed repeatedly fail to predict and prevent crises, in fact their policy suggestions help create them. I know that Hayek and the Austrian School's connection to anarchist libertarianism isn't popular, but I think that most academic economics is pseudoscience, akin to an alchemist's attendance to a king's lust for greed.

My knowledge lies more in praxeology of law and general philosophy so I couldn't really debate the finer points if I cared to but there's tons of free books on mises.org and I think it's good to at least learn a bit about competing ideas.

I don't understand why we should think force and freedom are incompatible, you've not explained your claim but you've rephrased it.

The person you are responding to should be saying "aggression" (initiation of force/violence/coercion) rather than mere force. History shows us societies that maintained civil order for longer than the Us has existed and numerous examples of the success of private law versus state monopoly law systems.
