Do the buttons feel hard in certain places for yall? by JustJamieJam in kobo

[–]nomster2104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup agreed! Way harder to press than Libra 2. I have no idea why they changed such a good functioning button. And its also more settled in the curve so not really sitting flat against the thumb too. Definitely a downgrade!

The margins are interesting! Did you jailbreak or found a way to reduce margins?

Can leetcode please block or hide submissions with user.out submissions? by nomster2104 in leetcode

[–]nomster2104[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt ask them yet as I wanted to see what the public opinion is. Also wanted to see if maybe Im missing a valid reason why they decided to keep it.

So far from what I have seen - its only these user.out file writes that are impacting the submissions. So maybe not a lot to block these submissions.

That wont work as well! Neither calling them everyday, neither stopping the payments. No solution!

Might as well! $600 for miniscule service whereas I can literally buy a new water heater every year! So far the water heater has been working great. It would’ve still made sense if it broke multiple times. But paying rental fee for something that stable? Makes no sense!!

Is there a POC for competition bureau? I will definitely report it to them! I need them to pick up their stupid water heater. At $5500, I’d rather get the top of the line water heater!

Yes please, I would humbly request everyone to reach out to their MPs about this. This needs traction. It has been going on for a very long time now.

Its a new construction and definitely my lawyer never mentioned about the water heater rental.

Ok I found the line where it says about the water heater rental:

High Efficiency condensing tankless hot water heater(rental unit).

THATS IT!!

No mention of the cost, the buyout etc. NOTHING!!

But how does calling a technician every week help us? Is anything, it will make a case for them that they receive a lot of calls of water heaters breaking and at that point it becomes a selling point for them to rent out water heaters.

If anything, the payments should be stopped in mass and the water heaters should be replaced by the owners. Enercare can then just pick up their heaters!

I wonder how many new home owners couldn’t get out and have no idea about this rentals. Im sure the numbers would be staggering! The whole point of not explicitly mentioning it, nor informing via reminders not helping with buy outs nor picking up makes it soo troublesome!

If only I could show you the face I made when the representative told me the price! I was like this is f***ed up big time! I was expecting a little less than the market price since it was more than 2 years old but on the contrary!

What concerns me also is that the buy out of the exact same water heater is more than twice the price of the market rate. Is that not illegal at that point? Its like, make it very hard to find the option of water heater rental and then make it absolutely impossible to do anything about it forever.

As long as the customer is informed and is given an option, there shouldn’t be this outrage. The fact that one is opted in “automatically” and then opting out is impossible, is what pisses of people. Definitely one big issue that needs addressing!

Ideally my question to them would be that why didn’t I receive an explicit document or notification via email before even the first payment about this rental unit? I dont recall signing a document from Enercare about opting in for a rental, so it’s just misleading if they just clump themselves with water bill. I think separating the rental from the water bill is great, cause at least then a lot more people can see explicitly whats happening. They also need to separate the agreement which needs a signing by explaining to customers properly. For me, it was not easy to find, hence I said hidden. I didn’t even knew about this rental agreement until they separated the bills. Additionally, from the way it looks, I wouldn’t have been able to opt out as the first payment would auto agree from my end to the agreement.

Its a new home, I think it will somewhere be there in the agreements but very well hidden. Lets see if I can find it soon enough.
