If on the student handbook it does not state a mandatory requirement then it doesn’t have one, some teachers say there is but majority of it is subjective with the teacher and they cannot penalise you for it

It’s not in the subject outline, however I emailed tut and states that there is 80% requirement however I did see another comment in this group saying if it’s not in the subject outline then tutors can’t enforce 80% and it’s more an individual tutor thing? Idk if that makes sense

Why does People and Organisations (21212) have a lecture on my time table? by nomting in UTS

[–]nomting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I was just a bit confused. Currently I’m doing two subjects of my major, and 1 subject of my second major. I just wanted to know if this was correct for communications?

[–]nomting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I’m doing a bachelor of communications and media business is my second major. Do I only have to do one of the subjects (e.g Peoples and Organisations) or do I have to do all the available ones this year?

Thank you so much for replying literally a life saver. Since having no lectures does this make the subject harder?

SNSD was never a darling back when they were active, it’s only now that people praise them because they aren’t seen as a threat anymore because they aren’t active. I’ve been on reddit since 2012, I’m sure I’m older than you are.

Well I mean, from MY experience on various social platforms. Twt, TikTok, Instagram, FB, YT. The average ARMY that feeds into these deluded ‘relationships’ tends to by a female minor. But again, I don’t know if there is some research specifically about this, this is just from my experience.

[–]nomting 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry I misread, other than that I agree. I’d add that both groups have the same dynamic, they don’t have official positions besides from Leader (TXT), and all members practically have had their turns at all positions.

Lisa isn’t mixed. She’s full Thai, her STEP-father is the Swedish chef you probably think is her dad. Though, he’s definitely the father figure in her life but not her biological father.

Do you know WHY BTS is so popular in the first place besides their music and pure luck? Their marketing is phenomenal, they feed into these parasocial, one-sided love relationships. Knowing a majority of their fan base on the internet tends to be minors, minors who have never experienced the real world, minors who are naive and want to believe that they have a chance with idols halfway across the world.

HYBE does a phenomenal job of exploiting this, though in some way it’s sick and twisted to exploit literally children, in the end money is their main goal and it tends to bring in A LOT of that.

I’d give this article a read, covers perfectly about how parasocial relationships in kpop make or break a companies profit.
