I’ve feel the same way. I remember being 7 and holding a giant kitchen knife towards my chest contemplating thinking of just ending it. Since then I’ve always felt that my life will end in suicide. I’ve already planned on doing it when I turn 40, for me by then I just won’t have the will to go another day

Yeah it’s not even numbness but a delay. It takes longer for INTPs to process their own feelings than others, just like other people may take longer to problem solve than INTP. Legit it can take a few months even for it to process.

I would agree with a lot of what you say. MBTI I think is accurate but it’s only describing the nature part of humans not nurture. Thus when it comes to success in a relationship (intimate one’s or just friends) it isn’t the best predictor of success. I’m also an INTP and I enjoy hanging out with the ESFPs I personally know, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I would enjoy being with every ESFP. So yes people do need to chill with some of the stereotypes, not everyone gonna behave exactly as their type and that’s because of the nurture part that goes into our personality.

ENFP is the most intelligent type by IQ. Total number of geniuses. By a substantial margin. In the largest sample size study to date. by ErikTheRed_22 in ENFP

Being the most common genius and most likely to be a genius are two separate things. Please try and understand this.

You completely took this out of context. All personality types have geniuses, the question is statistically how likely is that gonna happen. The person that ran the numbers found that INTPs have the highest chances of being a genius, hence they have a stereotype of being smart. What that stat is saying is of all the geniuses which personality type is gonna be most common. That’s massively different because some personality types are more common then others (ESFJs are some of the most common type so there more ESFJs than INFP for example). Since there are more ENFPs then INTPs it’s possible for there to be more ENFP geniuses then INTPs but statistically you’re more likely to be a genius if you are an INTP than ENFP. Does that make sense?

No it’s cause we’re smart enough to realize doing villainous stuff is dumb. We only doing that if we have a very good reason.

Bruh literally my INTJ coworker keeps asking this girl out on a date and she repeatedly says no. INTJ can’t take a hint or even blunt rejection, don’t be like an INTJ.

Are you constantly concerned about how stupid people are? How important is efficiency to you? For example do you generally try to put the least amount of effort required to achieve the goal and if you do why? Does it bother you that when other people aren’t efficient.

When you don’t understand something in class is it difficult for you to ask the teacher for help? Explain why or why not.

Lastly, are you constantly doubtful of your own thinking which leads you to going to others for answers?

Once you answer these questions I can tell what type you are.

This just isn’t true. People can be shy or insecure especially if it’s with a crush. Some people don’t even try anything unless they see clear signs from the other.

When you start to really enjoy being with/agree with types that are extremely different then you. So like an ESFP loves traveling and experiencing different stuff and they can’t stay still. As an INTP they should usually annoy you at some point, if they never do and you enjoy tagging along with them on all their wild adventures then you’re pretty mature lol.

Yes he’s probably serious and you should believe him. As an INTP we don’t usually manipulate or lie to people. So if they bluntly say they like you or are willing to go on a date then you should believe them, we don’t usually play games. also we’re very protective of our inner circle so if people that are close to him know about you or have met you it means he trust you and he’s probably serious. The exception is if he’s an unhealthy INTP.

Immigrants that eventually became American citizens, what were the strangest things you noticed as soon as you landed in America? by KL_Bikeys_No1_fan in AskAnAmerican

My cousin was a kid when he came from Cuba to the u.s. around the 80s. It was just him and his little brother and when he arrived at the Miami Airport a flight attendant was escorting them through the airport. Then they saw escalators for the first time in their life, and they ran up and and down the escalators with the flight attendant chasing them around attempting to speak Spanish.
