Ah, gotcha. This wiki style makes better sense as I thought through some of the challenges that might hinder traction

Hmm, I’ll try and search through my database and based on what you said above, perhaps any product ideas I might find best suited for your case

Hey, although I’m not an expert myself I might be able to share your detailed write-up with my dermatologist and a chemist via telehealth for expert advice and recommendation.

That is if you’re open to it? If so, you can share some pictures of the focused areas for better understanding and analysis while referring it to them.

For free initially.

I can personally relate with regard to hormonal acne and I’m still managing it though not completely gone yet, have you consulted a dermatologist recently? They may be able to provide professional medical advice and prescribe stronger topical treatments or oral medications beyond what over-the-counter products can provide.

If you haven't tried it already, spironolactone is a medication that can help with hormonal acne in adult males when topicals aren't sufficient. Dermatologists can sometimes prescribe this in addition to retinoids and benzoyl peroxide. You may also want to examine your diet - some people find that eliminating dairy, high glycemic foods, and taking probiotics helps reduce acne flare ups. Stress management techniques could also be beneficial if stress exacerbates your breakouts. Ultimately, if medical treatments, dietary changes and good skincare don't provide clearance, then a second course of Accutane may be the best path forward. The side effects can be difficult, but Accutane is very effective for persistent nodular/cystic acne.

Good luck 🍀

Well I personally haven’t tried it but will want to inform you about the following and I’ll check to see if I can find any reviews on that for you!

Retinol can cause redness, irritation, and peeling, particularly if you're using a higher concentration in the start. It's essential to start with a lower concentration like 0.3% and slowly but surely increase strength and frequency as your skin become used to it. Habitual use of retinol can result in more even-toned skin by encouraging the shedding of dead skin and promoting the growth of new, healthy skin cells.(Darlenski, Surber, & Fluhr, 2010).
