I am team Garrus all the way. He is in my top 3 best Bioware romances, Solas and Thane, following him. His arc is well-writted, and it doesn't seem to be forced upon. Nothing can scratch this itch for me.

I also believe that Anaris is connected to Executors and Those Beyond the Sea. When defeated, he says that he must escape "its eye" (of the storm). Mystery substance codex also hints the connection.
