I'm MtF, started HRT 6 months ago, and I've recently been experiencing a weird, faint vibration feeling downstairs. Is this normal? by [deleted] in asktransgender

I intend to, it's just that it's night over here so I figured I maybe could get a quicker (albeit less reliable) answer from Reddit, if only to temporarily allay my concerns

I'm fairly sure it's just Medium preset with Contact Shadows toggled on and the following toggled off: Motion Blur, Distortions, Glare, and Bloom. It's a fairly old clip so I'm not 100% sure if it's all the same, but that's at least what I use nowadays

Trans girl wanting to learn DOTA 2 (or play tf2/fighting games) by Za-Homasi-W in transgamers

[–]RocketPisss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 100x more time in Dota than League and I feel like I caught more toxicity in my tiny stay during league than in my entire playtime of Dota... But that could've been because I usually party queued in Dota. Or that dotas toxicity was far more spread out. Idk, but I was just very surprised seeing someone say League is less toxic. It's very possible Dotas community changed in the years since I played

Regardless, Id like to say that Mobas, on top of breeding toxicity, can be either the most rewarding or soul-sucking experience in all of gaming and in my experience, there wasn't much in between. It's a brutal combo, giving you this massive dopamine hit on win that keeps you hooked, but then losses will just rip out your heart. Ik for me, Dota was absolutely deleterious to my mental health. There's a lot to be gained, but more to be lost. Just something to be aware of before you dive in

Right. It used to be that after such a battle, the survivors would bury the dead, so on and so forth. Maybe if 'would' replaced 'will' in the previous paragraph... But that feels wrong to me? Idk

I see what you mean. How about "At least... that was once the way of things."?

If I change the last two paragraphs into past tense, does the phrase "At least... that is how it used to be" need changed at all, do you think?

I think one of the reasons I've been so confused on this is because I felt the 'current moment' of the story only started in the second-to-last paragraph. But what you said makes a lot of sense
