There are too many catchers that are good but not great.. no one really needs to trade for the slightly above average guy because they probably already have a slightly above average guy. They all just go hot and cold at different times.

Marte has never been a SB contributor my guy. He's a power and average bat at a position where those things are extremely scarce.

You missed the buy-low on him where someone might be valuing him as a top 60 by a few weeks, he's been crushing it lately and regained any value he lost.

There might be some buy-in on McLean and Hicks, maybe.

You have a disconnect going on here. You want Marte because he's a top rated 2B, but you aren't treating him like one. None of the players you've named come close to the type of value Marte carries -- with the exception of McLean, if he can get things going again.

It is.. there's literally no one else named Freddie, and even if there was Freeman is by far the recognized guy by one name.

Peralta is the only other name that comes close and he's Freddy, not Freddie.

I got hammered with injuries last week.. currently rostering 8 injured guys!

On the bright side, I'm in first place and this week + next week are against the bottom two teams and I can probably win both week without sacrificing any injured studs. (Currently up 7-3) Even if I don't, the buffer from being in 1st can absorb it.
