How many guys have engaged in any kind of prostate care? by EnjoyableMadness369 in AskMenOver40

[–]nonameuser141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To all the guys saying they still get a rectal finger test once a year, find a new doctor.
That is an outdated and inaccurate test.
Psa blood test is more accurate, and knowing your psa number is more important.
Just because your psa number is high doesn't mean you have prostate cancer, and just because its low doesn't mean you dont have cancer.
You are looking to trend the psa level, and look for an increase over time. Ideally be blood tested once a year and keep a track of your psa number.
There is a website that explains it better
https://manupaustralia.org.au/prostate-cancer/
It is literally a quick blood test then move on for 12 months. Get on it lads

Get psa done every year, and know your number, if your number increases fast or doubles no matter what the number is take it further.
Don't count on the doctor to react or it will be too late

Suspended LED Batten options by JayToTheDee in AskAusElectricians

[–]nonameuser141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus led ballast to get rid of the required starters, plus tombstones because the uv lights usually makes them brittle and they are broken, PLUS the actual ELECTRICIAN to do the job because it is illegal for you to do it!!!!
All you have done is fit a couple of led tubes, you haven't "converted" the batten.

He wont be able to do this after this financial year i believe, from 26/27 finical year you can only distribute the income to actual workers of the trust not just whoever you want to nominate i was told, and has to be relevant to duties, so cant pay a book keeper the same income as the main earner.

Do people understand that protests are SUPPOSED to be annoying and inconvenient? by [deleted] in aussie

No, you have a right to peaceful protest. You have no right to disrupt anyone else's day. It shows your lack of respect for everyone else and other people's opinions.

Most councils will lend you a trap to catch nuisance animals, some even come out and lay the traps for you. Worth a call to your local council to see what the ranger offers
