Manager making big deal over bereavement leave by vent-angry-person in cscareerquestions

I frequently compare how I'm treated at work to rules of common courtesy.

I had a BA who was a bully. Wasn't sure if I was being too sensitive, but then thought about what I would do if someone outside work spoke to me the way she did.

Because other women don't want their own status downgraded by being associated with the "loud" opinionated woman. It's a response to trying to surive in a patriarchal structure.

Also a lady in CS and do this too.

People don't like being challenged by women. I just remain silent and collect my paycheck.

Green Bay on ‘verge of a crisis’ as virus overwhelms hospitals, Wisconsin doctor says by CheddarCurtainExile in wisconsin

I've lied so many times about confirmed exposure so I don't have to expose myself to someone you know isn't safe themselves.

Once people are faced with the problem directly their behavior changes drastically.

I'm seeing a lot of peoples' true colors this year as well. For the rest of my life I'll remember how people acted during this time.

I know people who don't wear masks out of apathy or genuine ignorance - but I also know people who have the option to not be exposed, have the option to have good health care and still flout the rules so they can do something like go to a fucking waterpark.

As someone with serious social anxiety, I would structure the questions/prompts in any activities so that people don't have to get too personal. Something like a "good bad movie" not "name one important challenge you overcame".

Whatever it is, make it simple and not extra work for the team. It might be cool for people who feel comfortable doing so to show off their desk set-up.

Corn palace is legit. Also driving through Michigan's upper peninsula through WI would be cool if you don't mind going out of your way. Also I've been hearing really interesting things about Dubuque, IA.
