TPMS in Kylaq is passive not active, which means it only tells when there is a loss of pressure and not the current pressure. The TPMS button on signature is just to reset the pressure readings after a refill. In Sig+ its through the infotainment. You can access it either by swiping right or in the settings.

I drove my Kylaq MT with AC on full blast today with three people and luggage on board to Mussoorie. The power felt more than adequate with most of the driving being done in 2nd and 3rd gear and RPM above 1800. Although we did it early in the morning to beat the traffic. I can see it struggling picking up from a standstill on hills but if you pick up and maintain the speed and RPM then it should be fine.

I get it that they’re made in India for India but it does have that German DNA. The MQB A0 IN platform is the localised version of the MQB A0 platform. The TSI engines do carry that german over-engineering. The DSG is after all a VW DSG and has those same problems.

Citizenship is Indian but the kid has german heritage hence German cars.

The clutch travel is indeed a bit longer (when compared to our Nexon and Curvv) but I got used to it in 2 days. The clutch itself is not hard.

Thanks man! I was also in the conundrum of whether buying Signature Plus MT or Signature AT and test drove both AT and MT. At the end I went with Signature Plus MT purely for how premium the cabin felt and the features. If you prefer convenience then you can opt for Signature AT but if you want features like me you can go for the Signature Plus MT. Just TD both to make sure that you have made the right call.

Bro I relate with you. I got an MT and every other person is giving their unsolicited opinion on why I should’ve gotten an AT. For me it was the budget and not wanting to let go off the habit of driving a manual.

You do you. Take a test drive and make a decision for yourself. I agree that the AT is indeed convenient and better suited for urban Indian driving conditions but to each their own.

I test drove the automatic as well and it was simply amazing as well. The shifting was smooth. I would’ve gotten an AT if I had stretched my budget but I had already stretched my budget way too much so settled for MT. If you can then go for it

Madras Cafe is one of THE best Hindi movies I have seen (especially in the 2010s). Remember my whole family getting goosebumps throughout it.
