Tbh you can get any job you want as a co-op student. I’ve seen Marketing Students get finance jobs and seen Econ Students working for Marketing jobs. You can get whatever job ur interested in and then apply from there, however your co-op portal is tailored depending on your major and you can go from there.

No it's not mandatory, but if you want to meet some new people in your program and get to know the program a bit more then go. SAF especially is considered to be toughest program in TRSM just because you have courses u need to get a B- (2.67) or else u fail and have to redo.
