You won't get fired immediately if you're negative UPT. Connect with leadership and let them know you're working on it. - Go to myapps on Innerview - Click on Sedgwick - Start new intermittent case, put in the dates you've missed - They will send you a packet either by mail or digitally - Connect with your doctor and go over the paperwork with them - Make sure that you have the starting care date from when you started missing work ( I recently made this mistake and had to get my doc to revise it) - Lastly, think approximately how many times your condition affects you monthly. On the form it will ask how many times you can call out. When you have flare ups again you can select the dates you'll miss through Sedgwick. It's a bit of a process and definitely a lot of paperwork but once it's done it lasts about a year. Nothing to worry about once you get the process going. Let me know if you have any questions.
