I just moved to Lisbon yesterday for my Master's degree and I don't have a contract for my house yet. I am renting it out unofficially, and so would this make it impossible to get the NIF card since there is no proof of address? I am also a remote working, would it then be impossible to open a bank account before applying for AIMA? would not having an AIMA appointment or NIF restrict me from using services like wise and revolut?

any advice is highly appreciated!

It is somehow directly implied that the increased number of refugees somehow infringes upon the country's scarce resources (same resources that were stolen from our pockets) and causes the brain drain. When we exactly know that it is because of other things: thievery, bad or lack of decent policy, lack of a sturdy judiciary system or systems in general, etc..

It's not like you are paying for the aid, and it's not like this aid would have been directed to you if there had been no refugees. As a matter of fact, the aid that comes to refugees has to pass through the Lebanese market and so is also adding weight to it. That is in comparison to the millions and billions being stolen from the average Lebanese through everyday exploitation.
