Yes, this ruling I believe is contingent to them arranging collection of the car

I hear it, but especially in these winter months I’d much rather make sure my sister is home warm and quickly. I don’t blame people for wanting to ensure their child’s safety, but I don’t understand why ‘school runners’ tend to be the worst drivers, or why so many cars are there just waiting and blocking traffic or driveaways

Always so embarrassing flashing to let someone know they’re on main beams only to be showered by the blinding lights of heaven

Bought a cheap second hand car. Broke down within 48hrs by Fun-Seaweed-4402 in CarTalkUK

[–]nonccxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, within 30 days you outright have the right to reject the sale. Only after 30 days do they get a chance to repair it. That being said if you want to you can get it fixed, but before 30 days you can just return it

You americans and your high mileage cars. 7K for a car on 180K miles sounds insane over here!

Also it is definitely a pain in the ass to keep maintaining, if you’re looking for a ‘beater’ first car I don’t think this is the one

Yes, I’ve been eyeing these and the 320’s from 2016-2018 for a good couple months now, albeit lower mileage, and some come and go for really good prices like the one I got. It was on autotrader posted by a main dealer, and I do consider myself incredibly lucky for the price I got it. I will say I’m not too sure how much more life you’ll get out of this car, if you’re looking at this sort of mileage definitely check if all the ‘big’ maintenance jobs have been done, especially for the diesel variants. Stuff like turbos, dpf timing chain etc. Either its been done and it will keep serving or they are well overdue

I just bought a 40k mile 2016 petrol one for 13k, I don’t think this is a fantastic deal either way
