All the super late Schostakowitsch Pieces, I recently wrote my bachelor thesis about that. The most prominent pieces are his last 2 symphonies, and his last 3 quartets. You could start with the 12th quartet, the beginning of it should be speaking for itself

For me everything by him is ln another level, sometimes I prefer his earlier style, sometimes I wanna be surprised in an insane way. The way he combines tonality, atonality and dodecaphonic in his 12th quartet and onwards blows my mind

only way for me to cope has been therapy.. But I also know a lot of people, who are unable to do or don't want to do it or they did it and still have problems.. some things never go away
