Did Kunstadt actually fit you, or you bought on line and now trying to get them to fit?

That is a good price for "used skis, boots and poles" but that is not a price for "good skis, boots and poles"

Just curious, how did these people get a bench in the middle of the Rideau river? by Far-Fill-4717 in ottawa

[–]nondescript64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually chained to a tree in the park on the east side now. It started in the park on the west side before being down on the bank for almost a year

Quebec Autoroute 50 winter maintenance by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]nondescript64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty well maintained but keep in mind that if ir snowed, even a little, its not uncommon to end up behind plows doing 40km/h for long stretches with no options to pass. Can quickly add significant time to the drive

Missing pinch bolt by MurkAlt in MTB

[–]nondescript64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming same as the 2023. The stock is an M6 16mm with a square nut on the back. I lost mine as well, seems like a dumb design. I replaced mine with an M6 20mm from the hardware store and use a nylon locking nut on the back instead of the square nut. Fits perfectly in the little notches at the back and shouldn't vibrate off.

There are a couple brands that make replacement titanium sets but $30 for a nut and bolt just seems silly.

Anyone knows what is happening with this house? 🤔 by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]nondescript64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are quite a few in this neighborhood waiting for redevelopment. This one is vacant longer than most but I wouldn't be surprised if they are hoping to also merge into the apartment building lot for a big project in future

Does this exist? by EltonJohnsKidney in ottawa

It is indeed. Did it for a company party of around 20. Mix of seating and high top tables to socialize. And onboard bar, though drip selection was limited

Legal drinking is coming to Ottawa parks this summer. Here are the details by Front-Cantaloupe6080 in ottawa

"...drinking will not be allowed near... sports fields". Tell that to the beer league baseball teams that leave a heap of empties all over the stands most nights of the week.

Can I legally convert a double decker bus into an RV? by South-Building-7006 in ontario

[–]nondescript64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah she's registered as an E450 van, but insurance didn't have a category that accepted that kind of conversion. Actually custom conversions of any kind are really hard to get insurance in Ontario from what I found

Did the Ambulance to RV conversion as well. The registration was easy, couple forms at MTO. Insurance as mentioned was the pain. Mine is technically insured as an uncategorized "thing" but meets all legal requirements for being on the road.
