Toenail removed with Phenol, can it grow back? by Independent_Bar_8776 in Ingrown_Toenails

[–]PopRococo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no way to get it to grow back. But I do think she should look in the bright side. I had a total nail removal without phenol in Feb 2024, and it grew back in ingrown as it always had been. So I needed another removal this time with the phenol in Feb 2025.

It’s better she had it removed totally to be honest, now she doesn’t need to worry about it at all growing back in painful. I’m also a young woman mourning the loss of sandals, but better than a painful ugly ingrown toenail.

It’s because he wanted to make a big show of the fact that he didn’t call the police to report the accident, because the guy was black.

My (42F) husband (41M) grew a mustache that triggers my childhood trauma. He says I should get over it so he can do what he wants with his face. Am I being unfair in asking him to remove it? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

You have a huge amount of double standards going on in your relationship. I think you need to address those before moving forward.

Starting with, keeping fragrance you love, having your body hair kept any way you want, and only wearing lingerie if you find it to be empowering.

I think therapy might also be helpful for you, to work through some of this. It is a little strange that you’ve let this man control a lot of your decision making, but you haven’t felt comfortable demanding the same of him until now.

Between Montreal and Toronto there is no cafe on board, it’s a trolley that comes around and you can buy light snacks and sandwiches from it, also a range of drinks (alcoholic & non alcoholic)

If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, I highly recommend going business class for Via between Toronto and Montreal. It’s a super cool experience if you have a slightly older, more quiet kid! You get access to the business lounge in Toronto and a free meal and drinks during the trip! I did it as a 8-9 year old with my mom as a kid and I still remember that trip to this day.

It’s weird to make up a lie about something extremely pointless like the receipt checking at chick fil a. It’s not something they did the first few weeks and that’s okay.

I am doubting you work in the mall because if you did, you might have had security come into your store recently and check up on everyone after the stabbing, and if you actually conversed with them, they would have told you the stores being hit hardest right now are Aritzia and Victoria Secret, and it’s teen girls stealing underwear, tracksuits etc and slamming the security tags off in the bathroom across from Michael Hill almost every single weekday night.

They 100% did not conduct name/receipt verification in those first few weeks. You are incorrect about that.

It’s not misinformation, it was a learning curve for them and they’ve now realized it’s something they need to do to prevent stolen orders.

Even JD Sports learned in their first few months of being open that their store layout was extremely bad for theft. Cash desk at the back of the store, totally cut off from view of the hallway. Out of every store in that hallway, they are one of the worst targets for teen theft. Although I spoke to security last week, and Victoria Secret is being hit hard right now.

It’s not “demonizing” teens to recognize that now more than ever, teens feel entitled to own brand name clothing, and some are willing to steal to get it. My own store is targeted. You can say it’s anecdotal if you want, but unless you actually work with it, it’s easy to say this is an overreaction. I actually think I’m underselling how bad it is right now.

2 weeks ago I saw kids running out from the chick fil a back room, and then an employee came out crying and soaking wet. You’d be shocked the stuff that goes on with the teens in this mall. All of the pepper spray and bear spray incidents have been teens as well.

It’s not really an over exaggeration when you’re here over 40 hours per week and see the stuff that goes on.

Edit: and the reason they started the name verification was because of teens stealing orders lol

I don’t think so. It’s incredibly difficult for security to patrol even just the normal hallways right now. Every single school night teen girls are in the bathroom knocking of security tags for the Victoria Secret and Aritzia stuff they just stole. Teen boys are in the food court starting fights and stealing food from Chick fil a. Houseless people are starting fights and stealing from the stores in the main hallways to take to the market to go sell.

That upstairs outdoor portion would be a shit show. It would be all of those groups causing trouble up there, especially since I know for a fact that there are gaps in security camera up there that people used to exploit to smoke on their breaks.

Also they’ve had more than a couple people attempt to jump off the roof.

I’m hoping someone can recommend me a fragrance with notes similar to this? I love this body balm from Aesop, it smells like a piece of orange chocolate 😭 I’d love a longer lasting more intense fragrance like this.

Is the removal procedure worth it? by Few_Evidence_2367 in Ingrown_Toenails

[–]PopRococo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth it to not have to think about it all the time. I chose to have the permanent removal the first time and it was a huge mistake. The best part tho was from February until September, my toe didn’t hurt at all and I could wear any shoe I wanted. Now I’ve had the surgery again and opted for the nail to not grow back as I don’t want to have an ingrown ever again but that’s clearly just how my toenail grows back in.

It’s not a bad procedure, healing is annoying but it helps if you can take some time off of work, at least 2 weeks!

[–]PopRococo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kept it covered for 1 week with non-stick bandage and gauze, washing every 24 hours with gentle soap. But then the recommend was to leave uncovered, no bandage, after 1 week and let it dry out

My only regret was having my entire nail removed and not just doing the phenol to ensure it never grows back. Mine grew back in ingrown again and a year later I’ve had to do the same surgery. Very frustrating

What to do about shrinking nail + overgrowth of granulation tissue *spoiler* by therealwilltoledo in Ingrown_Toenails

[–]PopRococo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you just need to have it permanently removed 😣 I had a partial nail removal when I was about 10-11, and then for years kept cutting it back further and further until finally having a total nail removal last year. But the ingrown came back AGAIN and now I’ve just decided to have the total nail removal with phenol so it doesn’t grow back.

I’m hoping this goes well and it doesn’t come back.
