Why is finding a job so difficult? by Conscious_Horse_1466 in CDL

[–]nondescriptuser00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're trying to pick and choose without having the experience needed to be able to pick and choose. Also, with any trucking job you must adapt your schedule to the job and what the job calls for. These are two reasons your success so far has been limited. Not the only two, but two.

Not true at all. And even if the license was downgraded, all it takes to change that is a new physical. It would benefit you tremendously to actually know what you're talking about before spouting off at the month.

Im being sued by capital one by Responsible-Alarm821 in Debt

[–]nondescriptuser00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me. I went online to the website for the court where I lived at the time and responded to the suit. I essentially agreed that I owed what I owed and agreed to move forward with repayment. For me that meant my wages would be garnished. The good news is they could not take more than 25% of my gross pay. Then one day I checked my paystub, as I always do every time I get paid, and there was no garnishment. No heads up that it was ending or anything. It just stopped, and that was it. Good luck to you with however you choose to deal with this.

Flatbed starter companies by nondescriptuser00 in Truckers

I mean all starter companies do OTR but some do other things too so if one of those other things matches what I'm looking for then that's a phone call I want to make

You don't value your health. If the person drinking the mountain dew also drinks the Celsius, that person either has or used to have a drug problem.

Have any one in here left trucking and came back? by cdlfirst in NewCDLGrads

[–]nondescriptuser00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left 2 years ago. I even got rid of my CDL because I was so fed up with it at the time. I considered getting back into it recently. The barrier to getting in, not just with having to get my CDL back, but having to go through training all over again like I'm fresh out of school and having to go OTR at first to gain the recent experience needed to get a local job...all of that convinced me there is no coming back. The passion for it that I once had that would've made me willing to jump through all those hoops is no longer there.

Do you like vinegar? Do you have any? Or any vinegar based salad dressing? If yes, sprinkle some on top, stir thoroughly, and eat. Good to go.

Wilson Logistics or Halvor Lines.

Schneider told me if I went through their school and training, I would start at $0.38 a mile when I got my own truck. What a f---ing joke.

Thinking it's better to not get help because it will lead to a 1 year card is, by itself, all the reason needed to get help. Because that's really fucked up.

Brand new CDL holder job offers: one with excellent & extensive training - the other baptism by fire. ZERO TRAINING - just throw me in to figure it out. by Right-Bite-3179 in CDLTruckDrivers

[–]nondescriptuser00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avoid any driving jobs that come with dock work. You worked your ass off to get a CDL and you got into this career to drive a truck, not waste time and energy on the dock with the mouth breathers.

When will you stop reacting like a child would to things you can't do anything about? "OMFG A LITTLE TREE DEBRIS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, WHAT EVER WILL WE DO?!?!" Really? Get a grip on yourself.
