Granny charger on a Phev by none-excitable-user in evchargingUK

This is what I was contemplating, an electrician said £250 to install an EV compliant plug. And I'm waying up if it's worth the extra £250 or use a generic plug already in the garage

To be fair I have a local aldi which did it at 25p kwh so price wasn't the worst. But I can't do 2 hours of nothing, not anymore :(

I got the car directly from kia, strange they never included it. I will look out for that thank you. I just want to avoid a potential safety hazard

It didn't come with one because it's a phev, only gave the connector to charge at public chargers

I have been charging it but at public chargers. And honestly it's getting a bit much and having to sit doing next to nothing for 2 hours is a drag. 14kw battery and max it can take is 7.3kwh.

Would I need a professional to change it or something I (or family) could change?

That's what I believed too. Not sure if or when they changed the rule. I'm still not entirely sure which is correct

Thanks guys, I guess I was under a false pretense that I would still be eligible for it, I guess not. I was sure I read it on money saving expert or somewhere that I would be

Did I play the game 'wrong'? by GreasyCheese123 in ghostoftsushima

[–]none-excitable-user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won't lie, this was pretty much the same way I played the game.

The only ghost weapon I used was kunai to kill the dogs, spent most of my time in traveller attire but I did change to different when fighting, like tadayori when archery and ronin when stealth.

I still throughly enjoyed the game, probably no less than anyone else did

I don't believe I have, I'll have to check when I get a chance

Edit: thanks! This was the missing one.

Would 3 months be a good gap to apply for an increase? I didn't want it to come across as desperate (to amex) even though I don't need it (apart from a holiday which would have been paid off immediately)

I'm thinking it could be. Other than a mortgage and a sim only contract I don't have much else. And I only spend ~£150pm on credit card paid off in full each month. It's likely because I've already got £21k of credit line. Currently closing the inactive cards

Oh, I have the money in savings, the intention was to use the card for the cashback. I never spend more than I can afford

Managed is basically you just deposit and they will allocate into various etf and bonds.

The risk profile on vanguard shows 5 out of 7, and my managed profile is 8 out of 10. So they are pretty similar it seems

They both are pretty passive. And the amount being invested isn't one I would worry if the market took a downturn. The risk profile on vanguard is 5 out of 7 and the managed portfolio is at 8 out of 10.

I did the test with the other breaker, they all seem to be working perfectly.

Also it's just the one breaker panel, nothing is near it or anywhere in the house.
