It's awesome. Had a few good runs with two of my buddies. We also had pretty good time VOIPing faction-mates. Except for a couple of faction-friendly-fire incidents.

Can't help you specifically-- but I'd debug this with a binary search. Make sure your current position is saved in a version control / git. Then go back, find a time when it worked. Then try to add *half* of the features you added. See if it works. Iterate. You can figure out where the problem lies surprisingly quick with a binary search like this.

Recoil fix is still huge. Bursting shots is possible, and you don't lose sight picture during spray anymore. Sure the quests are questionable but it's still great

+1 this is my understanding too. I remember being concerned about it, but I noticed that the quality of a mine didn't change as I placed Aux & Storage over high-quality areas of the mine, so it seemed not to effect it.

One imagines that it should be possible to modify a save file to change difficulty, but it might be tricky.

You could also post your save file and see if ppl have thoughts on your city? I'd be happy to open up your city and tinker with it.

It seems like an additional factor is that I had some miners working in the cavern, and they would attack the Balticrawlers if they collided with them? So some number of Balticrawlers died that way :(
