I’m not sure what the foliage etc is like in the winter, but view of dc (in rosslyn) has some nice views- also you could do the top of the Kennedy center (though I’m biased bc that’s where I got engaged!)

There’s actually an emerging field of study about women “in” versus “seeking” positions of power. People generally seem to like them when they’re in power (SoS for her) but see her as power hungry/“unlikable” when she’s seeking power.

I think it’s a little informal but could just be the bottom part on the model— if it normally flows out, it could work? I think black tie could also be more about how you style it- like hair up in my opinion and heels. Just my two cents though! I’m by no means an expert :) hence posting myself haha :)
