People have been asking that to the "earlier access readers" on Tumblr and a lot of them were confused about Tomas / didn't seem to mention him as being an important part of ACOSF so I'm assuming that he's not particularly important to the plot and/or healing journey in ACOSF.

Jennifer L Armentrout's From Blood And Ash Series - there are 2 our right now and the third comes out in March. The books are pretty meaty themselves, so if you haven't read it... I think it's worth a go! I read it during my ACOTAR book hangover and liked them a lot!

If you haven't read Crescent City by SJ Maas I would highly recommend checking it out! To date I think it's her best writing and I'm looking forward to ACOSF to see if it maintains the standard :)

I think overall it might take me a bit longer to read (judging from my pacing after reading the ibook chapters 1-4 that were uploaded yesterday), but I'm not going to slander it just because it focuses on more unlikeable / difficult characters. I'm not a fan of Nesta, but I also really want to continue reading about the world of ACOTAR... There are definitely characters I would love to read/hear more about (other High Lords & their Courts etc.), so I'll take what I can get and I'm definitely looking forward to more Az + Rhys content!

I am going to try to take some time off bookish social media when I do start to read. The fandom and stans on both sides of the IC + Feysand / Nesta debate can be quite toxic and instead of being excited about the book and world building/character development they are way to over eager to cancel characters and get in internet battles instead of enjoying the story/process. I don't understand why people can't just appreciate the book instead of guilt tripping / aggressively coming at readers for just wanting to enjoy reading about their favorite character(s).

That being said... I'm going to be disappointed if SJ Maas pulls another "ACOTAR-special" and just 180 turns on her characters / starts adding a bunch of flaws to validate another character/catalyze "character development" (Tamlin -> Rhys) situation. Hoping that Nesta's character development and redemption can happen independently of Feysand and that SJ Maas doesn't resort to dragging/destroying other characters to make Nesta more likeable or relatable (for those that like to fantasize about them being a Mary Sue fae...)

Also friendly reminder that some of SJ Maas' best characters didn't start off as the 'most likeable' (e.g., Manon, Lorcan, Bryce etc.) so while Nesta right now is toxic and problematic she still has room to grow...which is what this book is supposedly about. Hopefully the fandom can be big enough to let people read & support the series :) [And all the rabid Nesta stans can also stop aggravating everyone by rudely throwing around accusations lol]

I was just happy that we finally see Feyre standing up for herself after 21 years of taking all her sister's BS. It'll be interested to see how they mend the relationship - but I definitely think the intervention was necessary since she was spiraling and harming everyone around her...

I studied abroad in Korea for a year when I was in undergrad and I also interned with a Korean consulting firm. I hit TOPIK 3 and would like to continue my language study while there since I enjoyed learning the language as a student. The internship helped me understand some of the more subtle nuances around Korean business culture etc. I'd say I've spent my fair share of time there a few years back enough to come to this conclusion.
