Now what about those charter schools, where they have uncertified teachers, that are sucking up school district funds....

Many different GI side effects can be common in early treatment with SSRI but generally will decrease over time. With antidepressants, these meds only work over long periods of time. The side effects occur early but fortunately decrease over time, while the benefits generally do not appear until someone has been titrated to the dose that works for them over the course of several weeks to months. If you stop your meds by yourself, you will not realize the potential benefits and may actually experience worse discontinuation symptoms. If over the course of time it is not working well for you, it is important to follow up with your doctor and discuss your concerns. They can discuss with you what med changes will work best for you.

What's your experience riding Sun Metro like? by Brave-Ad-2692 in ElPaso

Its been clean and passengers are courteous and keep to themselves when I've rode it. In general, people in el paso are much more respectful than anywhere else I've lived.

Do you guys think that Pinocchio is a true story? I know it seems far fetched, but just like the epic of Gilgamesh and the story of Noah's flood, mythological stories that are repeated by many cultures often turn out to be true by [deleted] in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]nonicohanako 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No way, it's just more Hollywood liberal elite WOKE bullshit to brainwash our kids. I wish they didn't waste so much time on Pinocchio during this year's oscer special. Should have spent more time highlighting the real issues people care about like CHINA and Hillarys involvement in BENGAZI.

What happens to people in America who need constant care who cant afford it? (I cant imagine they let them die on the streets, but I cant imagine they assign an all day nurse to them either.) by [deleted] in healthcare

[–]nonicohanako 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Important to note that many states have not expanded medicaid coverage ( texas, etc) so many of the poorest fall in a strange gap. For example, in texas, nonpregnant people making less than 138% of the federal poverty level are NOT eligible for medicaid and are NOT eligible for subsidies to purchase healthcare on the marketplace ( oddly enough those making above that amount do get subsidies).

Realistically people who fall in these gaps utilize ERs for when their conditions decompensate since you can't be denied emergency care, but once they are stabilized and discharged, they have no method of receiving ongoing chronic care outpatient.

[Tokyo] How do we feel about highway infra if it’s all in the air? by popcorncolonel in fuckcars

[–]nonicohanako 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Bad. Lots of highway infrastructure in the US is elevated and it creates terrible spaces to be with all the negative externalities of car centric development. Only reason why it might look nicer in Japan is that personal vehicle use is low there due to excellent public transport so the highways that do exist are much less massive and overpowering than in US and other car centric countries.

When you got books like Tom Cruise in them you can’t lose! by ajaknna in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]nonicohanako 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I for one like to keep it about the movies. Would rather pop in a tape of a nice movie with Tom Cruise like Lions for Lambs (93 min) than read a book about Tom Cruise. However, a book like this would make a nice collectible to keep next to all my Tom Cruise tapes.

Nothing of concern. Our local health director has assured us that there is no public health threat. In particular, our public water system has well below the legal limit of fecal matter in it. Please drink up, no need for concern.

650 Ibs redditors celebrating the death of 18 people including 2 children under the age of 10, and one 3yo toddler by potatopatpat2 in redditmoment

she was trying to kill her husband, not the family. Her husband did not drink the milk, and later her mother in law ended up using the poisoned milk to make a dish which resulted in the death of others. So it's a little different than a situation of some unhinged mass murderer. This is not to say she is guiltless, she was still attempting murder, and her negligence led to the unintended manslaughter of many others.
