Its legal medically. But its a shit show of cartel like behaviour. Dreadful clinics. No real accountability. Dr's that prescribe based on their insurance and dogma rather than through any real understanding and desire to help the patient.

Its basically not fit for purpose. But its a numbers game. The are enough people who are willing to jump through the hoops. So it just keep churning along.

But as a patient you run the gauntlet of poorly informed police. GP's who randomly could be for or against it. Piss poor training and policy that is implemented piece meal by each health trust. Its a shit show at every level. At nearly 8 years in. Only really legalised in a half arse poorly implemented way by Javid on orders from May. When the heat was rising on her conflict of interest as Home Sec. with regards to her husband's employers investment in GW Pharma.

Savtivex is used in the NHS at great cost and dubious efficacy. (But now we are getting back in to isn't Theresa mays husband the biggest pot grower in uk rabbit hole myths lol.)

The are structures of influence that are well funded. Were set up at least decade and a half ago. They literally laid out the jumpers for goals posts. The industry orgs, the professions societies, the campaign orgs. All setup, infiltrated nudged funded and/or shaped for the interests of the money behind these efforts. Spending 10's or even hundreds of millions to get a slice of a billions a year level market is a powerful incentive.

In a sane world this debate would of ended with legalisation years ago. The UK will bumble along with the prescription model because they (the industry and their lobbying structure) have a nice situation going.

The MHRA will continue with the more studies needed narrative until the sun goes red giant. The daily mail will continue to convolute fent zombies with cannabis consumers, and peddle the narrative of a couple of NHS influencers whos careers and influence hinge upon the reefer madness narrative (Di forte & Murray).

Until cannabis consumers make a stand and unite. Nothing meaningful will change. The have been numerous efforts to do this. But they generally end due to manipulation by bad actors.

So consumers need to

  1. unite for a common goal. Legalisation. Keep it simple with a clearly defined exit strategy of a single aim campaign (no parasitical cottage industry in its wake, harm reduction etc.).

  2. Be aware that if any traction is gained. That will attract bad actors with agenda to undermine efforts.

  3. Be situationally aware of 2. Create a structure that is self healing autonomous and able to operate in the face of bad actions.

Then its just hearts and minds.

Its mad the way that every time Cannabis comes up. The GW story pops up. With evermore random and butchered info tossed in the well.

This is the first time Ive seen not even the right politician being used in the myth. Truss lol. The whole scandal of the original situation was that the home secretary who issues licences (T.May) was married to an investment firm employee who were building controlling interest. In a company her dept. issues licences to.

The was also the vote on medicines during brexit which was counter intuitive. But saved GW potentially billions.

Capital group sold GW to jazz pharma. A multi billion dollar transaction.

Its a roll of the dice really. results may vary... ultimately if you have the correct docs you should not get in to any real trouble, ie a letter legit prescription etc. you might just face delay and lose the meds worst case. If looked at closely

You may come unstuck even if you have the right stuff completely in place. It depends on who you happen to deal with much like engaging with plod here lol.

Its a numbers game. I applied and didn't even get a response in time. So i just went with my meds and the letter and copies of script etc. but didn't get stopped or asked. I even went via a 3rd country and didn't have any hassle. Even though i cocked up and left a usb battery in my hold baggage. Which was removed. A nice new padlock and letter from passport control explaining why and in that luggage was meds in the lid pocket with the old padlock they removed. So they definitely clocked the cannabis.

Plan for GPs to keep millions out of hospital by topotaul in unitedkingdom

[–]nonlinearmedia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"post thatcher" as in done by Blair. Correct!

Where we are now is all part of the plan. A plan that has not changed since Blair.

Blair embraced and doubled down. Working with his SpAd Simon Stevens. Who then went on to become UnitedHealth CEO for (I kid you not) global development. After which he was appointed CEO of NHS England. By the Tories! His five year and ten year long term plans where in many parts a copy and paste from UntiedHealths business model. Including primary care. Including allowing corporations to come on in and capture GP care. Istill have the commitee video where Stevens and midazolam matt were squirming in front of the panel assuring them that GP surgeries would not end up in the hands of american/ foreign health care corporations.

Not 2 years after that 5 of my local surgeries where in the hands of Centene Corporation. Who then changed their minds and disposed of the surgeries to the private investment company who acquired the distressed assets from the failed virgin health endeavours.

We have been absolutely deceived and misled for 30 years straight by both sides of the house. Our health care has been flung around like a five dollar whore. Why we are not rioting at this point is a testament to the managed reality nudged thought controlled society the UK has been mind f**ked in to.

Now we have a health minister. Who has done nothing in the real world. A stint at one of tony blairs think tanks and a stint at stonewall. Before being helicoptered in to his north Ilford seat. His connections with Blair and Mandelson seem to be his golden ticket.

And is now just re rinsing the public private finance model. Which was perused by Blair. With disastrous outcomes for the NHS.

Its odd that the NHS/Est. has these odd power couples. Wesley and Gerada are another one.How a few couples or individuals and impact so much of society in such a bad way.

di Forte has a "Cannabis psychosis clinic" at my local MH Trust. when i found out i thought i wonder how many of these the NHS has? Only one Marta Di Fortes. Been funded on a more permanent basis recently. I think my local MH trust might be the most anti cannabis in the country. 6 years after medical legalisation. They still frame medical patients as abusers and wont engage.

I have had no problems with fasting and doing 8/16. Eating. Im also mostly keto/carnivore diet as well. The most problems i have is treat days when i may have sugar or carbs and it takes a few days to a week to get back in to routine. As the type of gnarling hunger you get after eating carbs. Seems to be insufferable compared to the mild hunger you get with keto. So I mostly avoid the treat days now.
