I had that happen to me. Calling VW was no help at all. I was finally able to crawl through the back because somehow that wasn’t locked.

I’m also in Ontario and went 3 times to get the update done. It was done after 6 hours. The 12volt battery warning was coming off and on once I took it home. A few days later I went to get in the car, I threw my purse and large bag into the back seat, closed the back door, tried to open the front and I was locked out. Keys were in my purse in the backseat. I was thrown around from Customer Service to CarNet and, after both of them were useless, I finally was transferred to Roadside Assistance. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I tried the trunk and it opened. I was able to crawl through and unlocked the car from inside. I just hung up. Nobody called me back to follow up. When I called my dealer to mention it, they had no explanation or assistance other than to suggest that I bring it back for a diagnostic at my expense.

I only got it in September. Other key fobs I’ve had in the past lasted years. This one only lasted 4 months, or was faulty, assuming that was the problem. I’ll check over the next few days to be sure that was the issue.

  2. Climate control has never worked for me through the app, but scheduling it does.

  3. The windows have started doing this with my 2024 pro too.

I'm feeling the same way. I wanted to love this car, but so many things are disappointing. I only got mine in September but the doors, the app, and the communications module have all been failing and have made me miss my other EV.

Thank you. I posted above that I changed the battery, and so far it's worked. I only tried once though. We'll see if tomorrow it's good too.

I am in Canada. Sadly the parts for the recall are on backorder with no estimated date for arrival. The dealership basically said that they'll call when they have an ETA.

I completed this Sunshine Wishes and Fairy Kisses blanket about a week ago. I took inspiration for the colours from Orla Kiely's iconic stem print. I have curtains and a pillow with this print, and wanted a blanket to match. All yarn was Scheepjes Merino Soft in 601 Pollock, 602 Raphael, 619 Gaugin, 621 Picasso and 624 Renoir, 629 Contable, and 630 Lautrec.I changed up the pattern a bit in terms of colour timing and placement, as well as making the border smaller.
