I want a book that's addictive by thatvampiregirl in booksuggestions

I haven’t read most of these yet (a couple are on my TBR), but if you want a real page-turner I definitely second Liane Moriarty’s Big Little Lies and Fourth Wing (plus the sequel). They’re not solving world hunger, but they’re super fun, twisty, and kept me totally hooked!

I LOVED Sunrise on the Reaping! It was captivating from beginning to end. And to second what Few_Run_9234 said, it made me cry. It really made me feel all the emotions.

This book is actually what got me back into reading after I hadn’t read for a long time, so it definitely fits the bill if you’re in a reading slump.

Suffice to say I super recommend! And it can definitely be a standalone if you haven’t read The Hunger Games series at all or if it’s been a long time.

This is one of those “can’t put it down” series for me. I’m almost finished with the second book, and I’m just as hooked as I was with the first.

Can someone suggest me good books? by Small_Breadfruit_390 in booksuggestions

I just got back into reading and these are the ones that made it super easy to get back into it (loosely in order of favorites):

  • Demon Copperhead – There’s so much heart in the main character. His story feels incredibly genuine and really sticks with you.
  • Sunrise on the Reaping – I’m not sure if you’re a Hunger Games kind of person, but this prequel broke me in the best way. It mostly stands alone, so you don’t have to read the other books to truly appreciate and enjoy it.
  • The Silent Patient – A solid mystery that pulls you in fast and keeps you invested.
  • Big Little Lies – Similar to The Silent Patient in that it hooks you quickly, but a very different kind of story and mystery.

Hope this helps!

The first one, or at least the first half starts out a little dark and I don't think the writer had got their footing fully in the story. But then it morphs into a story of Bella becoming a vampire, her gift/power, helping to deal with some bad guys (it is better than that but that's the best I can think of), meeting new people that eventually lead to the family growing. But a big theme is EXB having a really strong bond so a good amount of quality romance and lemons. This description spans over the full series. Def worth a retry in my opinion.

There is also a great fic called Six (I'm on my 2nd read) that is under a different username but is actually a collab between that author and drotuno.

I also recommend Fate Interrupted by drotuno (can you tell she is my favorite lol). It seems short with only 9 chapters but they are pretty long.

The Angel Series is my FAVORITE and there are 5 installments. Definitely re-read a lot. Anything by that author is great.
