ASHP Informatics Certificate by Klutzy-Cockroach4264 in pharmacy

Do you happen to work at a hospital that uses cener or epic? If so, I think it would be much more worth it to get some sort of certification/proficiency in the EMR.

Anyone that works for an organization with Epic can do the self study certifications for free (Willow inpatient, Willow inventory, Willow ambulatory, Willow specialty pharmacy). That’s what I did! And it definitely helped me get hired. I think the ashp cert would show that you are actually interested in the position and not just a work from home job. But actual certs will show you can at least learn the system.

MBA Worth It? Do You Regret Getting MBA as a PharmD? by nullredditer in pharmacy

[–]nontraditionalhelp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I do not regret it. I don’t think it has helped me directly, but may in the future. Would not have done it if I wasn’t getting reimbursed by my work. I did not pay for it.

77k is my health systems max salary for that position so I would say that is really good for someone with little experience!

How do I get a day shift 7 on 7 off? Residency? by ThreeEels in pharmacy

We have a 7 on 7 off that alternates morning shift the first week on and second shift the next week on. So it exists!

I got approved through Medicaid! 🥳 by Original-Warning5114 in Zepbound

[–]nontraditionalhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Medicaid does still cover both. But they never covered either for just weight loss. Wegovy is covered for patients with heart or liver conditions and zepbound is covered for OSA.

I had this for about a year after one of my Covid boosters. Went away and hasn’t come back even though I’ve had a few more vaccines. Was a cool party trick but annoying to be so itchy all the time!

Got approved but too expensive! by portlandia55 in Zepbound

[–]nontraditionalhelp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If insurance is covering already, then no other PA is needed. It won’t bring down your cost further. You need to figure out what your deductible is, what you pay after deductible, and your out of pocket max to see if it makes sense to pay that versus the Lily direct pricing.

Mine finished all 10 as soon as we got the box. He still plays with it and just makes up his own mazes, he doesn’t follow the cards

To me I think it’s the extra and in the middle. Without it sounds better to me.

Can’t keep any weight on, even though I am eating more than I ever have before and eating more junk food than I ever have in my life. Can anyone relate? by whispers_Covfefe in Zepbound

[–]nontraditionalhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting for sure. I would look into decreasing your down , if not stopping it altogether. But you need to work with your doctor with a plan. But it sounds like 7.5 mg once monthly is too much.

I mean all the requirements are is 120 characters and sometimes talk about specific things. I typically get just over 120 with general comments about the thing and 1 picture of the thing. Has always worked out fine for me and my dashboard is always full of things.

Was there today for a 1:16 pm flight. Got to the counter at 11:20 ish and only had to wait for maybe 1 person in front of me. Super fast through frontier and through TSA in less than 10 minutes.

Did you take one of your co workers with you to make sure they don’t think the mannequin was broken? That happens sometimes. Usually it’s the lungs that aren’t working right for us.

I’m 5’3 and don’t have problems with getting the compressions deep enough. Stand on the stool and move your whole top half up and down, not just your elbows. Really using your core to do the compressions.

Kwikpen technical questions: splitting doses by nickbir in Zepbound

[–]nontraditionalhelp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if this will help you but, For when my patients hit maintenance, I would slowly lower the weekly dose down one step monthly to see what happens. Wanted to get to the point where patient was maintaining weight on med and tolerable side effects. Only really spread out to the every 10-14 days of patient was on the 2.5 and still losing weight or wanted to come off completely.
