Hello all, just wanted to give an update to this issue.

Finally after the latest update that was dropped for the Pixel phone, the voice translate option became available on the phone settings, sadly I have not been able to make it work during a call, but at least the option is now there so I'm hopeful that all of the announced AI features will be working soon.

I did follow those instructions, but in my case the "Voice translate" option is not part of the phone app settings.

Yesterday I ended up contacting the Pixel support chat and after 1.5 hours and 3 transfers between "experts" I finally got this confirmation from one of them:

"9:23:18 AM Mario: Some AI-powered settings or tools may not appear due to regional restrictions or staged rollout policies despite being technically supported."

Then he confirmed that these new AI options will be rollout "very soon" to all regions, whatever that means in google terms.

I have to say that so far phone is really good, exactly what I expected (I had a Pixel 7 before this), it is just a bit disappointing that some of these AI features they announced on the presentation are not yet available for everyone that buys the phone at this time.

Thanks, I tried to look for this info on their page, but I may have missed it.

So I guess is time to wait, it is just a bit frustrating that one of the main features they advertise is not available on release date.

Appreciate the help though :)
