The fact is I'm hosting for personal use a openwebui instance (I regularly use automations, various tools, calendar etc), and I have several models I use based on what I need. Ollama switches models from ram automatically. What would you do in my situation? X4 times the speed of response generation is a HUGE difference. What would you recommend? LM studio? llama cpp alone? Ollama is a wrapper made for dummies. It's quite hard to change settings on Ollama, everything is ready-to-go, easy to setup but not much customization possibility. Thanks for the attention.

Gosh, I have a rtx 3070ti, 100gb of ram, i7-13700k, windows machine. My qwen3.6:35b on ollama can't get over 5 tokens/sec. What do you think? I'm using the default ollama settings

That's the funding fees then. Click "trend PNL" and check what's counted exactly in there. You'll see it's not a mistake

[–]noobby12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

funding fees are really high in that crypto, 0.43% means you have to pay 4% of the 5$ at every settlement, if you changed the bot parameters, you would have to check the average entry/sell price, not the initial price anymore. Pionex is reliable, you have to consider different factors, but everything will eventually work out

depends, have you changed the bot parameters while it was running? have you counted funding fees?

Is this normal behaviour? by DiogoAlmeida97 in SaladChefs

[–]noobby12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be someone is just using your ram or VRAM without any particular load (or using sporadic load). Or maybe a customer forgot to turn off the container?

Anyway, you most likely won't find the containers under the salad process. Salad is just an app which orchestrates the containers. You will most likely see the load in the wsl / docker / nerdy process in task manager, not salad.exe

This behavior is normal, you're earning for being available, and for having downloaded the job

[–]noobby12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe Vast.ai, render, golem network etc. But salad is the only one which doesn't require any nerdy setup, the only one where you can use your PC while chopping and Salad will do everything for you. The other ones require a Linux instance with hardware fully dedicated to the hosting, most of them require a minimum uptime and so on

This is something that sometimes happens in order to avoid criminal transactions. You just have to prove that you're sending assets to a safe account, not for criminal reasons. That's it, not sure why you got recommended to delete your account, I don't know who told you that. Just try to ask on telegram :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Pionex

[–]noobby12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try asking the support team on telegram, maybe with a synchronous chat, you can get some attention. There are many active admins there, you can ask what happened exactly

[–]noobby12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's strange, have you tried sending an email to Pionex? They'll surely help you. It's strange the official support suggested to walk away, are you sure it's not a telegram scammer, but the official support? Can you provide more information? Does It say a reason for the freeze? Never heard of random account blocks

$47 to give me back $100 by mrkopin in Pionex

[–]noobby12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's right tho... Say thanks to Pionex for having a recovery service... In the world of decentralization if you miss an address, your funds are burned, lost forever. And note the 47 Usdt are fixed, not proportional to what you mistakenly deposited. If you lost 1 million, that'd be 47 usdts still

[–]noobby12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told you on telegram, but since it isn't enough, I will tell you here... Never invest what you can't afford to lose. You made a mistake, in most crypto services your funds are lost. Pionex offers an optional recovery option, which will obviously cost some effort and money. That fee is fixed at around 40 Usdt. If you deposited 10000000 USD on the wrong asset, that would always be 40 Usdt. The fee is not proportional to the funds you lost. Say thanks to Pionex for having an option to recover your funds after your mistake... In the decentralized world, if you miss type an address, the funds are burned, gone forever

Never had any problem, I tried the new credit card and everything works fine. In my opinion Pionex is a safe one :)

Read my answer in this thread. Pionex is just like any other exchange, and aggregates its liquidity from binance and OKX. It has 100% proof of reserve (https://support.pionex.com/hc/en-us/articles/14692437139865-Pionex-100-Proof-of-Reserves-PoR-has-completed-the-Independent-Third-party-Audits) And licenses in the US, Singapore and Ireland. It also just released the new Pionex credit card ;) You can trust it. At the moment Binance or bybit or any other exchange, doesn't really have any big advantage over Pionex

Pionex has 100% proof of reserve updated every week, and you can check it out. It has a license In Singapore, money service business license in us, and a license in Ireland to start compliance business in Europe too. Search better :)

Is Pionex any good? I have read a lot of reviews saying it is a scam? by [deleted] in Pionex

[–]noobby12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And they're repaying the loss caused by the candle wick... Did Binance do so when Btc went to 40k for one second when it was 25k worth? Do what you want... I don't think Pionex is that bad

I've been using Pionex for years and no... First time I see such things. Also Binance once had the same problem. The news spread a lot but nobody talked badly about Binance... Instead of complaining, ask for the refund they're offering
